Service was excellent. Food was very good. Had a huge table come in just after us, so was a bit of a delay with the pudding, but nothing too annoying. Overall very enjoyable

In January we visited with family and had a lovely time, but as a vegan there was nothing for me to eat. I ended up with a few tomatoes and some avocado! Today however, my husband and I have come back for lunch and to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary and there was a vegan menu with 2 starters and three mains to choose from! I had such a hard time choosing! All 5 options I hadn’t really come across before, so it was lovely to not just have a salad! Thank you for listening to customer feedback and thank you for an amazing menu! The only thing you need to work on now is a decent vegan pudding or two!

My husband had the fish and chips today and thoroughly enjoyed it, such a simple dish yet so easy to get wrong. We love the way The Bull has been renovated and we love the atmosphere and staff. Prices are pretty standard for food and drink.

I already have three lunch dates in mind to bring back to sample the vegan menu with, and my Husband and I will be back for sure.

I hadn't been to Bracknell town centre for a while, & was stunned when I saw The Bull's restoration. It looks amazing, & is a very clever mix of ancient & modern, without losing this iconic building's essential character & history in the heart of Bracknell.



Inside was just as nice, & the two bar areas link together well. We had a warm welcome, no waiting, & our drinks were great.

It is quite a long walk to the bathroom... but that's just a minor point!



It's now in a perfect place for pre-cinema drinks, what with the new one built just behind it, & which was what brought us here on this visit.

We didn't try the menu, but it looked good!

I was very impressed - hope to be back soon :-)

Great night at the Bull tonight! Fish and chips great! Tartare sauce lovely. Emily was great, kept the shots going and was really chatty. Look forward to coming back. Bonus that the World Cup was on too!

A brilliant: Meet the Chef experience on Wednesday. I think the food offer will move from strength to strength. Such a diverse pub - where old meets new.

Lovely atmosphere. Friendly, quick, helpful staff. Gorgeous chips. Don't go expecting haute cuisine, it's pub food well done. My only criticism is that my fish was a bit soggy and serving it on newspaper was not nice because it disintegrated into my food.



I love the conservatory restaurant because its high ceilings absorb the noise from other people so you can talk even when it's busy. Very relaxed atmosphere. Good for a date or meeting friends.

Booked a table for two, requested to be by the window, however, requesting this, you are sat between 2 sets of double doors, with a constant stream of people coming in to view a menu,as none are on display outside to passing trade, and on a snowy day like yesterday, was constantly draughty and cold.

Starter was a tad overpriced for what it was( sharing platter), pheasant and venison mains were lovely, overall pub area is cosy, and restaurant nice and modern, with some great features. Both out servers were chatty and friendly, will go back, just won’t sit near the doors area, recommend it!.

Way way over priced £10.25 for a glass of Feathers Sauvignon blanc �. If I’d known that I would of never of ordered it as there wasn’t a price list when ordering. Felt ripped off. Just because it’s now the Lexicon you’re still a pub in Bracknell not London �

I really like the atmosphere and the restoration of the building. It's beautiful and it's the perfect pub for a summer drink outside or a cosy winter drink in one of the nooks inside. I like their selection of wines, beers and spirits. A good variety compared to the many generic Greene Kings in the area. The bar staff have always been friendly and it has so much potential...

However... It's just too expensive. On average it's a tenner for 2 drinks which is bordering on London prices. The alternative pub in town is The Old Manor which is a Wetherspoons. Granted Wetherspoons are much cheaper but if the Bull want to last a long time then they need to reduce their drinks prices a bit. I get it that they won't compete with Wetherspoons prices but even a small reduction would be welcomed.

Re the restaurant, the menu looks great but I did experience a raw poached egg in something I'd ordered but unfortunately didn't have time to complain as we were late for the cinema.

I want the Bull to stay and I do love it there, but they need to listen to the public complaints about their prices and address this. Once the Deck is opened, they won't be the only pub that end of town (barring Blues) so I hope they listen to the public.

“POISONED!” I’m Coeliac and MUST eat a Gluten Free diet; if I ingest gluten I am very ill (like food poisoning) within a couple of hours.



My husband and I went in for a light lunch and I asked (the bar manager?) for a gluten-free menu; they didn’t have one! But gave me a folder that listed allergens for each dish. It was a new menu (from today) and, sadly, 95% of items included gluten!! Shame! Particularly as their previous menu and catering, including gluten free bread, was very good.



Anyway, I asked if the sweet potato and coconut soup was gluten free if the dough balls were replaced by gluten free bread. The bar manager (?) said yes. I therefore ordered the soup with the bar staff, the manager stood next to her and “no dough balls” and “gluten free bread” was entered on the order.



When our food arrived my soup came with 2 dough balls. I asked the bar staff to check again if the dough balls were gluten free, or to replace with gluten free bread. She returned to the kitchen and advised they were gluten free!! I ate the meal, pleasantly surprised (based on previous good experiences here)... 2 hours later I was violently sick and have been unwell for the last few hours!!!



I won’t be returning to The Bull Bracknell any time soon! I thought I was being diligent but, obviously, too trusting. I suggest more training of all staff is required.

The place is great but they recently have a lot of food on the menu which is not available or they have sold out.. ham hock is one of them which was not available and they said it’s Gammon steak instead but you don’t get the sauce from the menu... basically the only thing which was the same was the chips. Also we went quite early in the evening and so didn’t expect to have things sold out or just left off the meal with no explanation unless we asked
