Would like to prise the Manager (in Barnes) for not having the automatic Air-fresheners, reed diffusers in Ladies rest room. ,,So I Can Breathe!'' Asthma and allergies friendly place. Thank you.

User

We held our daughters Christening Party in The River Room in August and we were absolutely delighted! Fantastic food, beautiful setting and wonderful staff. Cannot recommend it enough...everyone was complementing us on our venue choice!

User

This is a great pub, we were only there for an hour or so last Sunday evening but I am basing my rating on the feeling/ vibe that we walked away with. Light and airy pub but cosy at the same time with lots of light, good mix of people of various ages and seemingly good food which we will have to try next time.

User

The food here is always excellent, especially the fish dishes. So, so much better than the Prince Albert in Battersea. My favourite, fish pie, has just been taken off the menu. Bring it back soon please.

User

The Bulls Head team put on a brilliant evening for us in the library snug for our Pint &Politics night - all invited. The bar was buzzing and there was a great crowd. Fantastic to meet you all and can't wait to do it again soon.

User

First went to the Bulls Head nearly 50 years ago! We went on Tuesday and had a meal and listened to the Jazz. Steak pie was really good! The band Momentum were excellent and have written some great material. You gotta get down to the Bulls Head!

User

User

Another fabulous NYE, at the jazz rooms at the Bull's head in Barnes! Groove Warriors played some mighty fine tunes, and boogie-ing continued passed the midnight hour! Thanks folks!

User

Amazing atmosphere and quaint little pub on the Thames. Beautiful views from the outside seating and amazing food as well!

User

A jazz venue of unsurpassed quality with amazing food and quality service

User

Was there to see a band. Had a couple of pints and a decent burger. Would certainly go back. Friendly service too.

User

Great service, limited menu, bartender couldn't tell us what some of the dishes consisted of but peroni on tap and excellent jazz..overall very pleasant. Great scotch eggs with a runny centre

User

Nothing special. Bit pricey but seemed a friendly enough place. Seating could be better organised in the Jazz Room, to much chair shuffling because no gaps left to access seats properly. Alan Price isn't very people friendly! He was very off-hand with a woman who just wanted to say hello and quite rude to a lady who simply wanted to take a photo of him on stage. Cheer up mate!!

User

Expensive ........oh and look out for the small blackboard that says 'no service here' before the barman bangs it down in front of you and when you look round the bar there is no room to get served as there are stools right the way round

User

As others have noted the music room is cack compared with the original one. The beer is no longer served at the right temperature and the staff are often too busy.

Sadly I believe that the "trendy new local residents" have ruined an iconic and historical music venue and the emphasis on trendy grub has spoiled a great pub.

User

A little ordering problem which should have been really easy to resolve ended stressful through bad kitchen management (namely chef) and server communication .. shame because what came out to the table was good just not what we ordered

User

Service is horrible. Food is decent.

User

I love the music that is presented but the room it's presented in leaves much to be desired. There's a bar in there but it's never open. I guess that's OK because the prices are so high and it makes it easy to NOT buy a drink. It's like they don't want to sell drinks. The fact that you have to leave the room and the music that you paid to hear, if you want a drink is just ridiculous. It used to be a nice place but not so much anymore. Sorry, I would have written nicer things if I could but I go there for music and the music itself is the only nice thing about the room. There's loads of room for improvement.

User

Oh dear. Very disappointing meal.

I was so looking forward to it.

1st attempt.. cold. Pouring hot gravy over everything does not heat it through.

2nd attempt was my first plate bunged in the microwave and paper ash stuck to the "Yorkshire Pudding" (hope they never have customers from Yorkshire!).

3rd attempt.. clearly microwaved again.

The YP was soggy and flavourless. No seasoning. The roast pots were .. well microwaved so no crisp outside.

One slice of lamb shoulder .. chewy.

No decent "Chef" would allow the plate over the pass.

I tried, in vain, for a pudding.

Gin and tonic panna cotta with freh raspberries and granola sounded worth a try. It wasn't. No raspberries and a handful of breakfast granola thrown over the tasteless panna cotta.

My recommendation? Go somewhere else.
