Thank you to everyone who supported the Carpenters Arms during all the thrilling England games. Despite losing last night and waiting 28 years for aWorld Cup Semi-Final the young Lions did well and we all had a great and I enjoyed wearing the Gareth Southgate #waistcoatwednesday with the England tie. We will be viewing the 3rd & 4th play off Final on Saturday and also the Final itself on Sunday look forward to seeing all soon!

Been coming here over 15 years. My joint favourite pub along with the Orange Tree in Chelmsford. Good beers and (mostly)good characters.

A proper pub. Good beer friendly staff. And unusually for à pub of this size a good bottled beer selection.

Would have been a five but it has changed so much, maybe too much, I know everything changes but the Carps didn't for years, and at least three landlords that I know of, but I still go there every time I visit Maldon to catch up with old friends. As a friend of mine once said, don't be a c**t, drink at The Carpenters Arms!

Stopped in for a drink after a walk very friendly pub with a lovely interior and my glass of wine was very nice.

Had a great Saturday afternoon celebrating a birthday. Friendly staff and locals. Will definitely be back for more. It's worth the 30 min walk from Heybridge
