Combined with a awesome crowd , friendly staff and great atmosphere to ensure you have the perfect night out. The last event back in March was a roadblock so get there early to avoid missing out. Entry is free. Smart casual dress .

Steve Goddard is the veteran Radio DJ specialising in Soul, Funk & Jazz-Funk. Steve did the Eastend circuit for 10 years, working in 2 Frank Lampard Snr venues & Mooro's for Bobby Moore, then well known Essex venues like the Epping Forest Country Club (3 years). During this time he was on several Radio stations ie Horizon, Solar Radio & Stomp FM. Steve then went on to set up 2 Agencies: Label Spinners for DJs & UK Booking Agency for other Acts & Provisions. Steve has played w...ith nearly every famous House DJ during this time from Paul Oakenfold to Paul Van Dyk to Judge Jules, Dave Pearce, Carl Cox, Boy George, Fatboy Slim & K-Klass etc. He was able to book these DJs for venues abroad as Steve was the 1st Agency in the UK with a website (Oct '95) so got many gigs abroad. He was then contracted by British American Tobacco and DJ'd in Russia, Turkey, France, Ibiza, Gran Canaria and other countries.

Took my friends to The Charcoal for the first time last night had a fantastic evening danced all night. Great atmosphere.
Thank you for a great NYE. Friendly people and brilliant music � Defo the place to be at the moment. Danced all night! Ears ringing and feet killing me but was worth it. The staff and doormen worked very hard well done guys �
My new favourite local! Great music and atmosphere, DJ knows how to lift your spirits after a long week at work. Bar staff and management are friendly and attentive. Looking forward to going there later

Staff very friendly Kaseem is extremely professional and runs a smooth ship. Would recommend to families couples and singles great for the area. Well done���
Had a great couple of hours sitting in the sun, sipping a few drinks, watching England beat Panama in the World Cup, with Emma, Abbie and Hazel.
And last night England won on penalties �����

The Charcoal is my new Monday night, Sidcup based, quiz venue. Really friendly staff who go out of their way to make teams welcome. Tonight we have a new quiz menu as well. Come on down and join the Paul Partridge Quiz Experience.
