Whenever I am in London, I go to the Chelsea Pensioner for a pint (or two). It is not only that the staff is extremely friendly and cool, they also have built an interesting atmosphere with their deco that gives a wonderlandish feel to the bar area and the Biergarten. That, plus good music and cold drinks, make of the pensioner a pub that is second to none in the area.

We had our Christmas party at the chelsea Pensioner we were treated like kings really friendly staff catering for our every need. Amazing venue, friendly staff outstanding food. In fact the food was out of this world all freshly made and great portion sizes. First class.

We had a brilliant time on Friday at the Pensioner for our running club social. This is the 3rd time I've been with a group and the karaoke room is a great space, the food was lovely and the staff couldn't have been more helpful or accomodating for us. Thank you!

This is a really delightful pub! We had a great party in the main area of the ground floor - the staff went above and beyond to make sure the evening went smoothly, and the food ordered was fantastic (particularly the tacos). Would highly recommend.

The best pub to have a pre match bevvy or 10,great people,great atmosphere and friendly staff.Doorman are good guys.Wish the beer was a little cheaper,and that we could have more time to sing Chelsea songs,but we can't always get what we want!

Nice pub for a pregame pint. Lots of Chelsea decor. Very close to Stamford Bridge so it's very convenient. Very crowded on match day so get there early.

Just had a birthday party at the Chelsea Pensioner and it was so much fun ! Andrey, Thiago and Eddie that work there are the best! The food was really amazing as well. I think the karaoke room was my fav part of the whole party. I highly recommend having parties here. You wont find a better staff in Chelsea to deal with ! Cheers Chelsea Pensioner !

I used to go here pre Chelsea home games from 1974-78. After looking for other old haunts on the web, only to be disappointed by their reviews, description or just not being there any more, I thought I'd give The Bull (it's old name) a visit.

I wasn't disappointed. I had a couple of pints of hoppy IPA, a lot of singing (old reggae and Chelsea songs) & some chats with others.

This was a gr8 place to warm me up(& others)

for the game ahead.

I'll be back for sure.�

I go here before match and after when I attend home Chelsea matches the Chelsea pensioner is great pub and excellent friendly staff if u never been I recommend u do drink there u won't be disappointed

Had the best 30th birthday here! I cannot believe how accommodating Eddie & his team were. They went out of their way to cater for a variety of different dietary requirements, and let us decorate the place before. We were in the courtyard area, which is so pretty! We then had a great time in the karaoke room. Would recommend this place to anyone hosting a gathering. Definitely coming back :)

Had a fabulous gathering in here on Friday to say goodbye to my brother and his wife as they travel back to Australia!! We hired the karaoke room and garden. Around 100 people turned up, the staff were fantastic, the bouncer was great, they did run out of ice but that was probably because we were only expecting 70 people, not 100! I would 100% recommend this venue to anyone.....I'll be back, and thank you.

Great wee pub in lovely area great beers , spirits, cocktails staff are lovely people nice wee beer garden down the stairs we make a visit every time we are down in London great location for Stamford Bridge as well 5 minute walk

Don't get there as often as we would like but it is an absolute must before and after a game to meet up with our Chelsea family. Great staff and bouncers. So looking forward to this Sundays visit as been a long time coming :)

Been going to chelsea for many years haven't been for a while and drunk all around chelsea first time I'd be in for a long while and took my boy in boxing day made him feel very welcome love the place friendly lads and girls nice pint going abit more now days and will be going back for a few beers before the games cheers ��

Absolutely had a great time. I came in on a Thursday and again on a Chelsea match day. The crowd was electric and Michelle and Thiago were more than welcoming. I’ve already told my friends in New Orleans to make this a stop next time they’re in London!
