Hi, I'm Cake. Chimney Cake. :) I was born in Transylvania 566 years ago. But, just like Count Dracula, I stay young and do not show my real age. My body is made of sweet, yeast dough, of which a strip is spun and then wrapped around a cone shape cooking spit. I am then roasted over charcoal fire (traditional way), gas grill oven or electric oven, while basted with melted butter, until I get a beautiful golden-brown tan. You can have me hot with a topping of your choice: grou...nd walnut, powdered cinnamon, coconut flakes. Or I could just roll in granulated sugar if you like me plain and simple. For the brave ones, I could be yours in the Luscious Chocolate Deluxe version. Either way you want me, come and get me!😉😍 I'll be waiting for you on Saturday, the 4th of August, on Chelmsford Saturday Market, from 10 am till 6 pm.

When I saw them on the High Street a couple of months back I was already late and the queue was long too. Since then I was looking for them and finally on Sunday I found them again. They are 2 lovely Romanian people who really know how to make the traditional kurtos kalacs. See you again �

What really won me was not only the amazing taste of "home" that was delivered through their speciality, but their amazing personality and hospitality. Every time I have the chance to meet these two lovely people, they always greet me with beautiful smiles. This is what I call the perfect marketing! Did I tell you about the amazing taste yet?

Well done Simona and George for bringing to Colchester the favorite chimney cake that I was dreaming about for a long time!! I always look forward to Friday and Saturday now so i can come and get one :) . Very tasty , it is all made exactly how i was expecting it to be !

They've done it in front of me, everything fresh and delicious. Definitely recommend trying it! Cannot wait to see you again on campus <3
