We had our wedding reception at the Clarendon in August and it was just perfect!
Julie, the events team and all of the staff at the hotel were so accommodating to our requests and pre wedding panics!
They looked after a large number of our guests over the weekend, nothing was too much trouble, and we received many compliments regarding the comfort of the rooms, kindness of the staff and the quality of the food!
I would whole heartedly recommend the Clarendon for anyone planning a classic London wedding.

We had our wedding day here on 26th May 2018. Our day was absolutely perfect from start to finish. Julie was great during the run up and Jasmin worked so hard for us during the day. Everything was set up for us the way we wanted it. The food was lovely. All our guest had the most amazing day. Thank you all so much for all your hard during our day �
This is our 10th, or so, time and it’s always perfect! Good variety of restaurants and shops nearby and Greenwich Park and - village only a mile away!
This Hotel has the most accommodating staff I have ever met right from reception to the restaurant and housekeeping they have bent over backwards to make my stay memorable . The rooms are lovely clean and warm. I would highly recommend this hotel and trust me I am as fussy as they come
Stayed there with my partner and family at the weekend as we where down for a wedding at the church opposite,Had a lovely stay the staff very friendly the room was great and quite large so plenty of room bath room good size to and comfy bed , had lovely view at the front of blackheath common and the church ,breackfast was amazing so much choice and was very pleased with the hot breakfast as there was plenty of veggie option so was very pleased with me being a vegaterian, so over all very clean comfortable and pleasant stay would stay again when back in London thank you clarendon �

Just had a lovely nite stay in the claredon hotel once again could not fault it staff are attentive lovely clean room with all condiments tea/coffee ect clean towels room was nice and warm flat screen tv only down side was room service ordered drinks 12.30 none appeared fell asleep woke up 2.30am gasping rung room service n they appoligised then brought them! They had a wedding party going on but we didnt hear a pin drop!...we were there for the greenwich xmas light switch on and festival had bus stop just across the road to greenwich cutty sark markets shops resturants cafes ect lots to see and do great place to stay to for sightseeing just 7mins drive away or 10 min bus ride
I have just got home to the Isle of Man, after a 3 night stay at the Clarendon. This place just gets better every time I stay.The food, both at breakfast and in the evening is simply amazing - the best. My room was huge - and spotlessly clean - both when I arrived and every day, after I had been out. The staff, from reception, to the cleaners, to the waiters and waitresses are nothing short of brilliant - nothing is too much trouble ...ever! I have to give a special mention to Freda and Isabella (waitresses at breakfast) -both of them and the rest of the highly professional team were kind, considerate and absolutely everything is done with a smile - they and the team are an assett to the hotel - they have become like old friends, and I look forward to seeing you all in September, when I come across for the On Blackheath festival - keep up the good work everyone - see you soon x

Being regular visitors to London for work purposes a colleague and I always stay at the Clarendon, it's a good hotel in a great location. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the hotel is very good value for money (albeit the single rooms are a little compact for my liking)
The food is very good with a wide selection and the breakfast buffet is perfect to set you up for the day.
On a recent visit we had to unexpectedly check out a day earlier than planned but past the 10 30 am deadline.. Having paid in advance I thought it would be too late for a refund but chanced my arm and asked the question and to my surprise received the money back for the last night's stay �

The staff were brilliant and extremely helpful. The evening meals were outstanding, some of the best I've ever had. Breakfast was a buffet style with plenty of staff on hand to supply tea and coffee. The bar has a well stocked range of alcohol and the staff are great.
We had a down stairs room with a great view of Blackheath, the room was a good size and spotless. The bathroom was clean and very spacious.
I had no trouble with parking as they have 2 car parks with plenty of spaces.
All in all a great family run hotel.
We will definitely be coming back.
We always book The Clarendon Hotel when attending a show at The o2. You get a lovely clean room with tea/coffee making facilities. Comfy bed and nice hot shower. Flat screen tv too if you want it. The only down side was the room service we ordered and it taking 45 mins to arrive - 2 over priced ham sandwiches. Self service breakfast is very good with good variety
I stayed with three friends for a night at the weekend (going to a concert at the O2. Easy to get to from Kings Cross. A very clean hotel with basic room. Excellent location for the O2 (15 mins on bus from right outside hotel) and Greenwich (20 mins walk though Greenwich Park) with great view across the Heath. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly with great advice on buses and sight seeing. Couldn't believe breakfast was included for the price. I couldn't fault a thing and will definitely return.
I have just stayed at The Clarendon and would not hesitate to stay there again. The staff were all amazing, so helpful. The room was fine and the bed nice and comfy. The breakfast was fantastic, so much choice and again the staff were excellent. I would happily recommend it.
Stayed in a suite for my wedding night on Saturday 26th Aug. My new husband has back problems. I was left to lug my suitcase up the stairs in my full wedding dress with no help offered until we got lost...we did misunderstand the directions but the signage was not clear.... it was only when a young female member of staff saw struggling was help offered. A young lad who had already passed us earlier, then took our case when he saw his colleague suffering. On arrival at our room (which was lovely) I wanted coffee, there were only 2 sachets of coffee, no milk. Reception told me they would bring some up but there would be milk in the fridge....when the same young gentleman arrived with the milk tubs he too could not find the fridge and when we finally located it there was no milk and the fridge was frosted up and smelt. NOT what you would expect for £170 per night
Convenient location, very good breakfast includes, free parking (if you get there early) & free Wi-Fi. The room was snug, the beds and pillows not the most comfortable, no air con (a small fan was provided) and in general need of an upgrade/facelift.

The only down side was the room service we ordered and it taking 45 mins to arrive - 2 over priced ham sandwiches. Self service breakfast is very good with good variety
I stayed with three friends for a night at the weekend (going to a concert at the O2. Easy to get to from Kings Cross. A very clean hotel with basic room. Excellent location for the O2 (15 mins on bus from right outside hotel) and Greenwich (20 mins walk though Greenwich Park) with great view across the Heath. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly with great advice on buses and sight seeing. Couldn't believe breakfast was included for the price. I couldn't fault a thing and will definitely return.
I have just stayed at The Clarendon and would not hesitate to stay there again. The staff were all amazing, so helpful. The room was fine and the bed nice and comfy. The breakfast was fantastic, so much choice and again the staff were excellent. I would happily recommend it.
Stayed in a suite for my wedding night on Saturday 26th Aug. My new husband has back problems. I was left to lug my suitcase up the stairs in my full wedding dress with no help offered until we got lost...we did misunderstand the directions but the signage was not clear.... it was only when a young female member of staff saw struggling was help offered. A young lad who had already passed us earlier, then took our case when he saw his colleague suffering. On arrival at our room (which was lovely) I wanted coffee, there were only 2 sachets of coffee, no milk. Reception told me they would bring some up but there would be milk in the fridge....when the same young gentleman arrived with the milk tubs he too could not find the fridge and when we finally located it there was no milk and the fridge was frosted up and smelt. NOT what you would expect for £170 per night
Convenient location, very good breakfast includes, free parking (if you get there early) & free Wi-Fi. The room was snug, the beds and pillows not the most comfortable, no air con (a small fan was provided) and in general need of an upgrade/facelift.
