What an amazing location. Had a lunch in the garden which was wonderful to sit by the canal. The food and service was really good.

We now have been for the 3rd time, and always enjoy ,our evenings eating out there. Staff are really friendly and we like the atmosphere and the food is good too. Yesterday we were led to a table , that was directly in front of the radiator and wobbly. We'd asked to move to another table and it was no problem at all. Deffinatly will be returning.

Super venue, great service and excellent food which is considered very good value for money. Would recommend to anyone going - weather lunch/evening meal or just to relax and have a drink.

Would have given 5* if we hadn’t been so cold. The food and service was very good. Will definitely go again

Took the wife and son for a meal, food was very nice and the staff were very friendly as well

Set in beautiful surroundings. The inside interior has kept to the original. Lovely exposed beams.

Service ok. I had a steak. It was cooked perfectly. Rest of family said their food was good as well. A little eager to take plates away. Twice someone attempted to take away the plates before I had finished ( slow eater).

Will definitely go back.

Pop in with some friends we had the beef Sunday dinner it was good

It’s a year since we last came to this pub. We were camping just across the road at the marina on a rally. Had to wait a little while for our food but it was worth it. Lovely food and great cider too. There were 5of us in our party and each one of us ordered different. All of the food came out together. Will definitely visit again when in the area.

Had Sunday lunch with my family and was surprised how good the food was. On the expensive side compared to local pubs nearby. When it arrived it was loaded with meat and the Yorkshire pud was enormous. The setting is lovely and requested the table by the large window which we got. The staff are so friendly and helpful have no hesitation on recommending it he venue.

I had the beef Sunday diner ,and was disappointed this was because,the beef was so Tough and chewey I couldn’t eat it , 2 roast Potatoes one hard and hard parsnip,I liked the veg but think it’s lazy when the carrot tops are left on ,know one wants to eat them,and had to pay extra for pigs in blankets or red cabbage , at £11.99 you would think this would be included,yes the big Yorkshire pudding was nice ,but iv still had better for a lot less ,this is my second vist and I did enjoy the food last time,so if I do return I want be haveing the Sunday roast.Would just like to say the young lady who served us was very pleasant

Had the hunters chicken, can honestly say I will not be going back the bacon was burnt the chicken all you could taste was where it had been cooked! Child’s meals definitely not worth the money for any of the food we had !
