Crocky Soccer the place you come to improve your soccer skills

User

Especially in this hot weather we strongly recommend that you wear long shots when visiting The Crocky Trail. Due to the current temperature, some of our slides can get quite warm and if your shorts are too short this can sometimes result in friction burns. Enjoy your visit to The Crocky Trail

Jim Walley and the staff would like to thank everyone for making 'Crocky Bites Back for Cancer Research' the fabulous night it was. Everyone had an excellent night, and we are delighted to announce that the event raised a fantastic £2,000 which has been gratefully received by Cancer Research UK.

What a fun filled day. Four cousins ages 7, 10 and 16 and us mums and we all loved it. Great value for money as we were there from 11am til close and we didnt actually get to the trail itself as there was so much to do. Great that there is a picnic area and you access the car whenever you need. Some groups had taken bbqs which we will do weather prevailing on our next visit. The gorgeous weather helped but think a muddy wet day would be just as much fun. Be prepared for a mucky day regardless. Food and drinks outlets are very reasonably priced which makes a nice change. Will definitely be back soon.

What a fantastic day out, old school fun, loads of outdoor fun with lots of activities to keep the kids happy, we arrived at 10:15 and left at 5pm when it closed, all the staff we helpful and cheerful, my 6 yr old daughter can’t wait to go again

User

Went for the 1st time with my 9yr old daughter an her friend from school for her birthday had such a fun filled day the trail was really fun an quite long an the kids loved that even me an dad could join in as there was lots of activities to do along the way took us just under 2 hrs to do the whole trail then we had ice creams an a drink an tackled all the slides needless to say kids slept great last night after so much fun x

User

Went a couple of weeks ago. Such a fun place . My one and half and 8 year old loved it . So much to do. Well worth the money . Take change of clothes as you do get muddy . Also maybe take a baby carrier as the walk around is long and muddy for the little ones,as getting a pram around the trail would be difficult . Will be definitely going back. Great day out .

User

We visited with a group of 18 non English speaking kids and 5 adults- the staff couldn’t have done any more for us- absolutely brilliant! From start to finish they coordinated our visit and ensured the group could go on everything they wanted to by manning all the operator attractions whenever we needed. One of our kids got an accidental bump to the face and your staff were on hand straight away administering first aid and reassuring us, fantastic! They all really looked after us and we all had an amazing time as always! Thanks to your brilliant staff- a real credit to your business!

User

Visited The Crocky Trail on Sunday with two 11 year old girls who loved it. The dog enjoyed the walk along the trail! We had sandwiches from the sandwich bar, and ice creams from the ice cream stall which were nice. Will be visiting again!

User

Second time we have been to the crocky trail and again we loved it the staff are all really friendly, the walk is amazing around the numerous beams bridges and stepping stones absolutely amazing

My only suggestion would to be not to lock the toilets till 5.30ish as with young children they could do with nipping the loo be4 leaving when we have an hours drive home! (And no where to stop on the journey) we sat eating ice cream (which was lovely ) and were unable to use the toilets as they had been locked up

User

Me daddy and our 2 boys (6) and (3) came today for the 1st time and i must say it was fantastic the slides are great and they was unsure of them at 1st but after we walked round the trail which by the way was really fun and so much to do and look at they was all over the slides then we went back round the trail again. Every staff member was lovely and really chatty to the boys and full of smiles theres so many places to have a picnic and its very good price.... we will defo be back but on a rainy day to get a different experience thank-you for a good day x

User

Kids had a ball, on the slides and rides but for me the best was the trail which also had plenty of activities to keep them interested. The small kids had the bouncy castle and little village too, although I do think that they need to look at the condition of some of the slides and also need to look at something to engage the small kids a bit more. I know that they say they can ride on things which are band appropriate however in my experience some of the banding is a miss as there were definitely big kids mixing with little ones. We did however have fun.

User

Great way to get your kids outside and running around burning off energy! I think you can tell those who are enjoying it by how dirty they get. I have agreed to undertake The Flusher on my return although I’d much prefer to wander along the original Crocky Trail. A lot of changes from the last time I visited circa 1996, couldn’t seem to find the electrified fence I encountered back in that visit. Recommended

User

Great place to bring children for a fun day out. Lots of adventure, lots of things to play on and an activity trail with more things to do. Great value for money.

User

Defo put the kids old clothes on as they will get dirty. Must admit when we first arrived I thought it looked dirty and out dated. However, when my 9 year old got into it she loved it. The slides and other rotating floor ones we great fun. She wants to go again. We also did the trail. Next time I will do a picnic as the cafe didn't have much choice. Give it a go but don't judge it too soon. All the staff were so friendly and helpful.

User

Absolutely loved it!!! Well worth the money. Kids (aged 6 & 7) loved it too. The best thing is that we all have burned lots of energy there, kids slept great that night :) Will be definitely coming back :) Highly recommend! 🤗

User

Absolutely fantastic day out for three energetic boys ages 6-9. I can not believe we have only just found this place ! Took a picnic and enjoyed that sitting in the fields. All rides were brilliant. Had my heart in my mouth on more than one occasion as I watched them hurtling down slides but they loved it. Thanks for a fab family day !

User

We visited the Crocky Trail on Saturday and had a great time. The children loved all of the activities.

My only criticism would be there are not enough rubbish bins around. There was a lot of litter dropped, especially on the walk around the field, and it spoilt the beautiful surrounds. Also some of the staff looked miserable and were more interested in chatting to mates or playing games on their phones than supervising the activities. I thought this was unprofessional.

User

I love this place but so disappointed they’ve changed the age restriction rules. Can’t go on half the rides anymore because I’m over 25 . However from reading other reviews I can see that this was due to their insurance company. I’d recommend making the reasons for this change clearer so not to disappoint too many regular visitors and maybe introducing more over 25s ride

User

Well... I think it is a little expensive for the quality of the attraction, we enjoyed the actual cocky trail, we enjoyed the ice cream (which was well priced). However, the staff rarely smiled, and the general condition of the place was run down, the children did enjoy themselves, but we got very bored whilst the children went on several of the slides but they tired of the slides too.

User

This is probably one of our favourite days out. My 18 year old and her boyfriend and my 12 year old and her friend love it! We have been going for a few years now but this year they have restricted adult participation which was sad. My husband loves getting involved (the biggest kid going) and they have stopped this which is strange as my daughters boyfriend who is 18 and 6”2 was ok to go on. Didn’t really make sense. It’s still a great day out and we did have fun watching but found it disappointing that the whole family can’t join in together.

User

A little disappointed with today’s visit! We have been here every year for the past 5 years and visited today with a large group! We always join in the fun with the kids but now we are restricted from doing so!!!

This has always been deemed as “family fun” although now the parents can’t go on half of the rides with the children

Apparently if your under 25 it’s fine to have a yellow wristband but not if your over 25? Which doesn’t make sense as an adult is an adult no matter what the age! Due to this we will most likely not return as this was a factor in our many visits as we could all play together x
