8 years ago in 2010 when we opened the Dean Swift as a Local Beer House we had a new brewery come in to do a tasting called Redemption Brewing Company!
8 years later we have Andy (co-founder of Redemption) back in tomorrow night (Thu from 6pm) to re-visit!
This time he brings all their core range to taste, chats crowdfunding and has a load of fantastic artisan cheese from Wildes Cheese to pair up with the beers!

Very friendly staff and great food

One of the best roast dinners I've ever had! veg cooked to perfection, melt in the mouth pork with lovely edible crust that didn't beak my teeth, tatties cooked in duck fat, what more can I say!!. Was pretty busy as well & we only waited about 15 mins, friendly staff. Defo go back, give it a try!

Lovely friendly service, great tasting food _ especially the onion rings, and fab choice of beers - great find, will be back!

Lovely food and so local to me during the week. Soon to be my regular place mid-week.

Just found this gem whilst walking slightly off the beaten (tourist) track at the back of Butler's Wharf.



Great atmosphere as soon as you walk in with pleasant and welcoming staff.



Great selection of beers with a small and varied menu.



The service was very fast too ��



I opted for the tomato quinoa salad and they were able to meet my request to have the mozzarella changed to feta.



My better half had the rack of ribs - which hung off the plate - it was HUGE!!!



Also really enjoyed playing a couple of board games whilst we waited ��

Jewel of a little place. Good for a drink on the City side of the river on Sundays because most decent pubs are closed.

It's my local pub and it's fantastic

Great service , good for socialising as well as sport . I was gutted when Tuesday's Pie night stopped but got over it quickly as Steak night kicked in ........ first class food

The choice of craft and local beer is really good , would love to see an old Yorkshire hand pulled beer along side to give choice and mix 'past and contemporary ' tastes ..... just as they do with food

Good selection of Keg and Cask beers. The FuBar Pale Ale was just what I needed after a long walk down the river on a hot Sunday afternoon.

Fab meal of roast lamb & pork belly, plus a really good bottle of Santa Puerta Cabinet Sauvignon wine. Loved the background music & excellent service too. Love the place!!!! Definitely coming back.....

Despite having a limited menu on the night we visited,our party of 7 all found something to eat (mostly burgers & steaks ) ,the young staff were all very friendly & efficient & food was delicious.This is the second visit for us & we will be back.(the beer & wine was pretty top notch too !)

Awesome craft beer pub! We got into looking for some local beers and we had a really good time: we played an scrabble (take care of the songs questions! Most of them are British singers. This was the reason we lost!!! �) Beer selection is really good and ambient is awesome!!!! Ask for the wings!!!!

Great Sunday roast, from starters through dessert. The menu had some interesitng and original selections. Everyone loved all their food. It's location - just a block or two from Tower Bridge - makes it a perfect spot for a post Roast walk along the river. Only thing to work on is waitstaff don't seem like they want to be there.

Gorgeous cosy little pub.Went in for drinks only yesterday,there was 3 members of staff and the lad was lovely and polite while the 2 lasses were talking at the end of the bar I smiled at them and was greeted by a dirty look which made me feel uncomfortable being there,whenever they passed they were just glaring at me and my daughter,what the problem was I don't know but to get custom and keep it you need friendlier staff
