Went to the dovecote in chingford with my family. Service was excellent as well as the food . The beer garden smashed it as well with children activities for them to do .!!

The food is always the Best Fresh ingredients...always cooked to order Always delicious great pub all round . .

My brother and I came in November 16 as it's the closest pub to Mum and Dad's house. We decided to try a Sunday roast. We weren't expecting much but it was an excellent roast beef dinner. Couldn't fault it and the roast potatoes were exceptional. Lovely staff too. We've been back five times since and each time the roast has been fantastic. We highly recommend it. Just a bit worried that if more people go all the good roast may go!

Love this pub. I’ve visited 3 times now. It’s a friendly environment and children are welcome too. A beautiful building just how a traditional pub should be with an amazing conservatory and ample garden space. I had a roast chicken dinner on my last visit that was reasonably priced, well presented and absolutely delicious. The drinks are also very reasonably priced.

Just had a meal "toad in the hole" amazing food cooked fresh to order. And good value as well. Happy diner.

I took my parents and 2 children here for Mother's Day and the set menu was fabulous! Beautiful roast dinner .. Live singer and saxophonist which was amazing .. Brilliant family atmosphere and super friendly new owners .. Excellent new venue will defiantly be back .

We went to a private party...we found the staff to be very nice. They did the catering, for the party. It was a good variety,of finger food ,fresh fruit salad.. The evening ,went well, good atmosphere....
