Would just like to say we had an amazing night with you guys Saturday night especially Finley and Poise both great girls to have working behind the bar, interacting with our group and generally having fun. Very good with up-selling the jelly shots too ÿ¢§. Unfortunately it〙s a shame we can〙t say the same regarding the guy, he was just plain miserable and looking down his nose at customers, clearly not happy to be working that night. Luckily for the pub the girls made our night so we won〙t be holding his attitude against you guys. Thanks ladies we〙ll see you again soon. Xx

We had a lovely lunch sitting outside the Duke of York pub, I had roast loin of pork which came with enough veggies for two, my hubby and son had cod and chips, again plenty of good food was served, would definitely recommend and eat here againÿ¢§ only downside drinks a bit pricey but you pay for the area which is great!

This has become our Saturday lunch stop after trying other places in Tunbridge Wells. Great atmosphere, fantastic staff and good fairly priced food.

Me and my little girl loves going to the duke of york it is lovely and the staff are very nice and we love seating out side when the sun out and meet people to have a chat too .

Had a lovely lunch here today with my Husband and 7 year old Son. Our food was superb. My Son who is extremely fussy said it was the best fish and chips he's ever tasted. We will return. Thank you so much.

Had a lovely Sunday lunch there yesterday, the pub and service seemed to have improved a lot since last there that admittedly was a while ago, plus they now serve Kozel! We ordered our main and dessert at the same time but they forgot the sweet that we had to remind them of. No issues and very apologetic that included a couple of additional free beers. Will definitely go back.

Great lunch today. Recommend the fish finger sandwich and chicken and bacon sandwiches. Friendly attentive staff. Sat by the roaring log fire. Fabulous

Sunday lunch was amazing!! Staff so helpful and friendly! I felt totally comfortable as single female eating there, not as common as it should be. The only, only reason there is not another star is solely price. Lose the pointless mini dish of cauliflower cheese and knock ôÈ1.50 off the price, you'll be best value in the pantiles! Also there is a pub almost opposite does same glass of plonk a quid cheaper ޟ˜‰

Stopped of there to have a quick drink and ended up staying for 2 didn't have anything to eat but it looked nice what people were eating. Very clean place and staff friendly even when I mentioned about no loo roll sorted it right away

Have not been to the Duke of York for years, so a great trip down memory lane and very impressed with the changes - what a difference and in a very pleasing way. Did not have food but the bar service was of a good standard, the staff were very pleasant and we even got a seat! Having looked at the food menu we will be back for a meal at some time.

Didn't realise that the Duke of York did food until last last! More than pub food. Gorgeous halloumi starter, fantastic steak and to due for brownie. Friendly staff ÿ¢§

Very poor value for money sandwich. Two dry rounds of granary bread at one end of a piece of wood and a few chips in a pot at the other end. Not even any salad garnish!

Ruined a once loved old fashioned pub with old fashioned values such a shame used to enjoy my times in this pub doubled your prices and who has the right to tell you what to drink in your spirits if I want diet or max Pepsi I would ask when I have a drink I want full fat Pepsi or coke not sure I will be back
