Very good pub with tasty food, friendly staff, great music a lot of different beer and amazing location! Prices are reasonable as well - really worth visiting.

User

This is by far the best pub in the area, and this is an area that isn't short of pubs! I live local and often find it hard to walk past without popping in for a drink. The service is superb & the staff are very friendly, which adds to an atmosphere that is lacking in many of the pubs in this area. Highly recommended!

User

Nice traditional pub, still keeping the carpet inside the pub, nice small cozy garden, refurbished since my last visit. Looks great and summery with different mix and match tables.

Only down side of my visit was that, I got some beer on my dress... the bar should be wiped more often, especially the edge

. But I'll let it go as football match was still on. And being a barmaid I can't give less than 5*. (I try not to be a hypocrat :D )

New blond girl behind the bar super nice!

User

Monday nights at the Famous Cock...the most fun and the most intense couple of hours you will have at a pub quiz...#speedquizzing

User

It's a great pub with great staff! I've watched 3 FA Cup finals here and Arsenal has won all three! Special place with special memories

User

It's a great pub for when I attend Arsenal home games. Staff are always polite and helpful, they have a good range of beers and the food is also very good. It's reasonably priced too.

User

I'm from Essex. A far more welcoming Pub than those in Essex!!! Always visit when in London.

User

Great sport pub, great food and atmosphere. Definitely will return! :)

User

Fantastic evening as always last night. The atmosphere was amazing.

User

Dunno what it's famous for..? Big chickens? But the wine was cold and tasty so no complaints

User

Came here on a day out for a few beers, in one word...AWESOME! Very friendly staff, and good beer. 5 stars? NO WAY. 10 STARS DEFINITELY

User

Awesome quiz on a Monday night! Quiz master is ace!

User

We didn't stay very schlong in the Famous Cock, but the staff were friendly and the pub is very conveniently placed.

User

Very nice modern bar with a traditional look. Toilets get abused by non customers passing through

User

This is a lovely pub with very friendly and customer focused staff. A good range of ales, beers, spirits etc.... Very close to the station for a pop in, before the homeward journey. Only situation to contend with are the prices. And in fairness to this lovely venue, it's out of their hands. Local and UK taxes will drive this establishment out of business.

User

Nice pub, decent selection of beers. Food is alright albeit overpriced, over £9 for macaroni cheese is a bit of a mickey take. Staff were friendly. I'd visit again.

User

Nice bar went there last night. I used to be a manager in this bar a few years ago so went back to see what it was like. I ordered some tapas food and paid upfront at the bar for the food. A bit disappointed 30 mins later when the barmaid came along with my refund saying sorry but the kitchen is closed. I asked why, she didn't know and therefore went next door to the Wetherspoons for some food. A good bar to watch footy but like every bar near a station they are always prone to pickpockets and bag thieves. Toilets disgusting though but good selection of beers.

User

The food is awful. Rubbery chicken, stale bread, overpriced.

User

Totally disgusted i ordered "loaded mac n cheese" when it eventually came to the table after a 30 min wait i was shocked at what turned up

£11 for a small bowl and i mean small as it was served on a saucer. The amount of product would of cost less than £1 and they have the nerve to try sell at £11 also came without the garlic bread supposed to be served with it so i asked for a refund and left after not eating a thing.
