We organised our friends Babyshower this Saturday, great venue, lots of food & friendly staff �

They must get the disabled parking sorted out. We saw a couple park in a disabled space which was the last available space. They had no badge.. I am very disabled. I did tell the staff. But I was with a friend for a birthday meal so didn't want to cause a problem for her.. Had I been with my daughter she would have had you remove the couple from the space. We had to park in waitrose and walk in the rain to the pub. I will not come again unless it is with my daughter.

The calamari here is the best I've ever tasted! My mum popped in for a drink before and they made me a portion for her to bring home to me! Great service!

Not been in before. Passed it many times though. Superb atmosphere, great staff. Didn’t eat on this visit, but look forward to doing so in future. Loved my first visit.. Certainly won’t be my last.

I was here for my dad's 50th birthday for a meal and drinks for the rest of the evening. I had never been here before and I have to say I loved it the food was great and the staff were brilliant and friendly. I live an hour away by car but I will be going again in the future

Had a trip out with the family and the hound on Sunday, bit of fun at Bruntwood Park, then called at a couple of pubs for Sunday lunch. A few weren't ticking the right vibe boxes until we landed here. A lovely sunny afternoon so we sat outside, grabbed drinks and the menu which looked perfect. So we decided to order lunch here as the place had a great, warm and friendly atmosphere. The food was amazing, especially mine, bury black pudding with a hash cake and poached egg, which was cooked perfectly. Half pound burger for Alex, gammon steak for Kieran and Emma had the Falafel burger. All stunning!!! Your staff were great. Nice to know we've found a gem for future sunny afternoons out!! And the interior decor is funky and immaculate. Well done guys 👍

Enjoyed an extremely tasty and reasonably priced lunch warmly delivered by the very attentive, helpful, friendly Rina. I would definitely recommend this lovely pub to you all

Came here yesterday for afternoon tea with Luis. The staff were welcoming and friendly and couldn't do enough for us. We were served almost instantly after our drinks and it was a lovely treat. The food and cakes were amazing and chatting to Luis was lovely too. The pub is really lovely and decorated really nicely too. I especially loved the flowers and Autumn butterfly's across the ceiling and the floral cow by the doorway. Thankyou for a fab afternoon. Xxx �

Been for a drink a couple of times, really liked it. Tried the Sunday lunch with family - couldn't fault it. For me, pink beef is the way to go, our niece loved the turkey and the ice cream. Great service , lovely food.

Had Sunday lunch with some friends of ours. Food was excellent. Could not fault it one bit. Just a couple of things to say though. Firstly, had to wait a while for a drink. Was busy to be fair. Secondly. One bowl of veg for 4 people seemed a little sparse. Could have had a bit more. And thirdly, on the Sunday menu, in the pudding section, one of the options is a ""Trio of ice cream. When asked what flavours I'd like. I was told you only get two scoops. Surely trio is three. Slightly confused us.

Overall, a very nice place to eat. Will definitely pay another visit.

Went for "early bird" menu - not exactly a very expansive choice but the food was nice ..... However when the bill was asked for they seem to have forgotten that there was a reduction in price !!! unfortunately the waitress didn't seem very apologetic ..... How many other people have not noticed .... Given the price of drinks it probably isn't noticed.

Took a bit of time to wait for a drink. Not too keen on the sticky beef salad. Beef very nice but so many bitter leafs in the salad made it a bit yuck! My husband had a pie which was very nice. By the way on the boxes near the stairs as you leave..... you don't spell gooseberries ... 'gooseberrys !!!!
