About The Fighting Arts Academy

The Fighting Arts Academy is a friendly mixed martial-arts club located at Highams Park in London UK. We teach San Shou, Muay Thai, Judo and Brazilian Jiu jitsu (Arlans Siqueria BJJ). Mixed Martial-Arts for EVERYONE.

The Fighting Arts Academy Description

MMA can be a great way to get in shape, meet wonderful, driven and goal oriented people with a common passion for the arts. It can be a great basis for self defense, and for learning life skills. There are so many stress relieving and rejuvenating qualities that can be had by training in MMA. If you are interested, don’t wait to start up.

Men and women of all levels of fitness, ability and age enjoy the training at our classes. You’ll find that MMA raises your confidence levels, reduces stress and massively boosts your energy. Every student comments on how supportive, friendly and welcoming the group is - indeed, that’s the only attitude we believe is appropriate for training.

Reminder that there are no kids or adults classes today as we take the team down to fight at the London Warriors competition.
Some of our blue-belts will be hosting openmat from 11:30 for those who aren’t around to cheer the team on!

Freak accident on the mat last tonight led to a badly dislocated elbow. Yes - it hurt... lots.
Nobody’s fault. Humbled by the way my whole team swarmed to the rescue... This is why we refer to The Fighting Arts Academy as a “fighting family”. Folks genuinely care for each other and consistently go above-and-beyond to help.
To all the newbies last night - please try not to let seeing that injury put you off... There will be plenty of annoying niggly injuries on the journey but that was my first acute / severe / scary injury in over 2 decades of martial arts training. It was a very atypical freak accident. Lady Luck just decided to have a little growl at me last-night... Oss
