Went to the Game Larder for the first time after taking mum to the surgery and receptionist recommended you. Lovely lunch at a great price thank you Lawrence �

We regularly call in for a pasty or a coffee and a brownie, today we had a takeaway roast beef dinner which was superb! Fantastic quality food and drinks with wonderful friendly staff.

This place is such a hidden gem! They have a lovely range of organic cheeses, some pretty local, and we also bought one of there Pigeon and Dark Chocolate pies, it was the the best pie I've ever tasted and it was packed full of meat. The owner and staff are so lovely too and really helpful with selecting what cheese you'd like. They also sell a quince set jelly, which was only 70p a slice and went so well with the cheese. I also notice then do a dish of the day, today was the Sunday roast and looked so good. I'd definitely recommend popping in when your in Yelverton.

The best sausage sandwich I've ever had!! Amazing sausage bap with stuffing and onions and a granary bap. And the chocolate brownie was awesome too!! Thank you.

Thank you for the kindest most helpful service I've had anywhere in ages. The plum sauce for my roast duck was a hit all thanks to the Star Anise & Cinnamon, it is wonderful when people go the extra mile. I can also recommend the Lemon Ketchup perfect the fish we had for main. I will be back for more goodies...

Shame roast was on the menu at home, cos the roast in a bap looked awesome!! 6wks or so they say they've been open, Im hoping that turns into years.

What a cracking little place to pop in before your Dartmoor adventure and fuel up or on your way home if you've zapped all your reserves - homemade pies, pasties, cakes and all sorts of other yummy goodies.

Only stopped off for a coffee after a walk but it was a great little place. Friendly staff good coffee and some specialist food items including black pudding scotch egg.

Lovely roast on a Sunday eat in or take away, all the staff very helpful and friendly, well worth a visit x

As much as I loved the old shop this one is a breath of fresh air.

And you're always greeted with a smile which is so important.
