The Gate Restaurants

What an amazing find this restaurant is. As a vegan, finding nice food in Hammersmith before a show at the Apollo has always been difficult, but no more! Amazing food, amazing service. This will be my stop off every time from now on.

Went there with my wife and two daughters last night and found the food very tasty and well presented the service from the waiter and waitresses was superb which to be honest you only find abroad theses days. Will return on next trip to London 👍😁

The food is just a fantastic, so delicious and beautifully presented. You will enjoy even if you are not a vegetarian.

I suggest everyone and definitely me and my friends will go there again.

Not actually a vegetarian but dinner at the Gate makes you think twice about being one. Beautifully presented and so many delicious flavours. All wrapped up with great service and at a good price.

Lovely barn like setting, gorgeous vegan burger and polenta chips, friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere. Different to the Islington Gate but just as good.

I’ve been here many many times and the food is always absolutely delicious! My only critism is that I can never decide what to have - I WANT IT ALL!

Great restaurant! My husband and I have been eating at The Gate Hammersmith a couple of times and we absolutely love this place. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. The dishes are delicious and it is a lovely hidden gem. We are vegan, but the restaurant also offers vegetarian dishes. Thumbs up!

First experience of vegetarian restaurant, I’m a real foodie. Loved the choice and our all we our dishes were delicious, beautifully presented and staff were lovely . Our wine was excellent and I even bought the cook book as was inspired to cook more creatively!

As always very tasty, well presented and interesting food. The service was brill, the waiter and waitress looked well after us and also time for small talk and a laugh. I love this restaurant.

Another dinner at The Gate, introducing a family of committed carnivores to the joys of The Gate's menu. Superb food as always and excellent service from the team, accommodating our need for a speedy dinner before a concert at the Apollo. 6 of us sat down, ordered different dishes for both starter and main course and we were all convinced we had chosen the best option - wonderful!

Amazing food, we even ordered an extra starter it was that good! Friendly staff and nice buzzy atmosphere! Came to £40 a head, that inc drinks! Good quality/value for money. Worth a visit!

A lovely restaurant, friendly staff and delicious food!

Sunday lunch for 8 was a really lovely pre theatre Christmas meet up. Veggie Wellington was very good and the gravy rich and tasty. Puddings went down very well, all packed with flavour.

Lovely creative food. A bit hard to find, only one women's loo (I just used the men's) and a bit cramped up next to one another but friendly staff and a nice dinner. Need two courses to fill you up and is a bit pricey by the time you add the wine. Would go again and would recommend people try it out.

Great restaurant with great food. Great location too. Have eaten in the Islington one as well which is also great.

Shame about the sewage smell when you first walk in the restaurant.

Have eaten here lots of times and normally always have a fab. meal I am afraid Sunday lunch didn't live up to its promises and the Yorkshire puds were shocking.

8:15 on a Sunday. Have just tried to get a table at your Hammersmith restaurant to be dismissively told by the lady on the door they are no longer taking bookings, even though your Sunday clsoing is 9:15. She told me next time I should call ahead, and when I pointed out I'd been ringing for an hour to try and get a table, her response was that they were too busy to answer the phone. As a regular customer of 5 years I've left tonight feeling frustrated by the offhand attitude of your staff and your opening hours on your website don't appear to reflect reality.
