GA TEAM READY TO TAKE IT HOME!!!!!!
Second visit in a year pre drinks and food before visiting the Royal Albert Hall food was excellent and the wife was happy at the prosecco buy 1 get 1 free deal (between 4pm & 6pm)
One of the best places for drinks and if you like football, then this is for you. Quite a mixture of people, and I dare say people that have been using this place for years. The manager is approachable and friendly which makes a change . I bring my friends in here when they come down,my wife and I love it. Keep up the good work.
Nice pub and the best service what you can find. Thanks beautiful Andrea for the best pint and Victor for my burger too.
Great pub, well located, friendly staff, can get busy but overall good food, and ales.......and served in reasonable time.......
Great bar and staff were more than helpfull , great atmosphere would definitely recommend stopping in 10/10
Found this place when I was visiting museums and Royal Albert Hall. About 10 mins from RAH and will be visiting again if in that area. Food was beautiful and very reasonably priced. I had the chicken sharing platter for my mains and my wife had the steak and ale pie. She said her mash wasn't great but the pie, veg and gravy were superb. Would recommend to anyone visiting that area.
Food was nice and staff pleasant all round good experience
Amazing experience! The service was excellent! The atmosphere was amazing! The drinks were fantastic! The food was fantastic! Overall, the best experience I have had in a pub, in a while. :)
What a nice pub, spent the afternoon in here before going to the Albert Hall which is 5- 10 minutes walk away. Perfect for a few beers/wines and a burger. Food was lovely, staff were brilliant, so friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a proper pub thats not too pricey or pretentious considering where its located. Thumbs up
I went there because they showed football. The game I wanted to wasn't on and when I asked they put it on. I found the beer selection to be lacking unless you are a lager person. Still I found it to be a good place to go.
Bog standard boozer. Overpriced beer and surly staff. What more do you want? Rose petals on the floor? Fanfare when you finally decide what you want? Go in, buy a beer and be grateful.
Cheers!
The pub was OK - and that's about it, we were served relatively quickly, didn't order food as we had just eaten but looking at it as it came by I'm glad we did. It did not look great. Wouldn't bother going back, too many better options I'm afraid
The loos could have been cleaned, always shows up a pub! My Guinness took a long time to settle but was good. Wanted to check out food but have not had good experiencesof Late, with pub food. I think it would have been better than the “Thai” across the road which was 4/10. I liked the atmosphere and the seating!
I used to live and work in this glorious watering hole back in the 80's changed a lot since. Used to go to the pub for a beer and a chat, not anymore, too noisy with all the TV's with the football on. Still great to go back and see the old place.
Decent choice of beer, didn't sample the food so can't comment on that. Male toilet was out of order so the disabled toilet was being used. Overall not bad.
Came in looking for a quick bite before a performance at the RAH that was reasonably priced. We had drinks and burgers and we're in and out in 55 minutes. Burgers ok pretty standard but quick service. 2 burgers and 2 soft drinks for £28.
Told there was a 10 minute wait for food, chased up after half an hour, chips were cold. Also the biggest head I've ever seen on a pint of Guinness... not great... very busy but that's no excuse, we were never asked how our food was so could not give feedback at the time
Really liked this place until tonight. Bar staff repeatedly said they did not know how to make the drinks on the menu and asked us to change our orders. Food came faster than the drinks, and the nachos were made on top of bottom-of-the-bag chip crumbles. Impossible to eat.
Pub is ok both of our food came out pretty cold and my mushy peas were stone cold as though they hadn't been cooked :(
