Was in London recently and happened to visit The Heron...lovely atmosphere, very friendly staff, great selection of beers and spirits and amazing Thai food!!

Stumbled across this place by recommendation! Cosiest little pub in London! Great pints and spotless even with all the little knick-knacks that fill the place and give it buckets of character. Open fires lovely to see and such a rarity these days. Staff friendly and prompt too! Will be back and try the food!!

I had quite a few friends and family in and the guys catered for us with distinction! Everyone who attended was happy with the service and party food provided! Happened upon The Heron during a recent Vacation. I'm glad I didn't miss out! The atmosphere was inviting and cozy, with friendly staff and prompt service. I was a bit surprised to find that the menu offered Thai food, however it was excellent and the presentation was lovely. Really, the only gripe I have is that the wine was slightly on the pricey side, but that one negative doesn't out-way the many positive things about this place. I wish we had something here at home that compares, but alas I'll have to hope for a future vacation and another visit.

Great pub, nice staff, really good food and great atmosphere. What more can on ask for?

Came for the great restaurant downstairs, stayed for the amazing pub upstairs! Quite bowled over by how fab this place is:roaring fireplace, gorgeous gents in deerstalkers and handlebars (why? Just because) and brilliant barstaff. What an oddly perfect london pub!

Amazing pub. Great food, great beers, roaring open fireplace and great company. Not too busy on a Friday night and tucked away from the main drag. Superb!

Great pub excellent bar staff would rate pub 10 / 10 but as for food and waitress it would be 3 /10

I will definitely use pub in future and fully recommend it but bypass the restaurant food
