We were in the area and popped in as we couldn’t find a cafe open. Nice pub, my husband had a pint but the barman made me a cup of tea. The toilets were clean and lovely - always the sign of a good pub.

Top pub loads of choice of drinks, service is rapid, proper food laugh open to all the CPFC lads and knows the ways

This has always been my local pub. The new owners have really given this place the boost it needed to keep it going and I couldn't be more thankful. For that reason I feel I owe them this review. The Holmesdale is now an exceptionally well run, proper old school boozer. With a huge rear garden and childrens play area this is a great place for famillies. The bar is fully stocked with a great selection of beers wines and spirits all at reasonable prices. The staff are a credit to themselves and the pub and make it a nice place to be. With a pool table, jukebox, Disco on Saturday and the legendary Pat & Debbie's Karaoke on Sunday you're sure to have a great time!

The place goes from strength to strength, even the roast is decent. Great heated patio area, plenty of room even on matchdays. They even have a secret stash of poncey beer, just for me!

The only Palace Pub that is welcoming and run like a proper pub. There is no other place on a match day.
