In a candid conversation, we'll discuss her journey in th...e industry, and how she's preserved and expanded her reach by staying true to her method.
Hosted by designer, Recho Omondi, whose interviews cut through the noise of fashion media, this live recording of The Cutting Room floor is sure to deliver. Join us in London.

Inspired by Eve and Gwen Stefani, Let Me Blow Your Mind teaches you how to capture (and present) what makes you distinctively different. It's time for you to stop describing yourself as ‘hard working’ and ‘friendly’ and really get under the skin of what you stand for and why people should care.
At F*ck Being Humble, it pains us to see great talent go unnoticed. That’s why we need to start throwing away those generic personal bios, factual portfolios and cover letters that are... going nowhere but the junk folder. People buy people, but only if you let your true personality shine through. So, whether you’re in the market for a new role, or just want to polish up on your personal brand, we want to help you with practical tips, useful learnings and a networking environment that enables you to spread your word.
During the evening, you’ll learn how to: Craft a personal bio that people won’t forget Curate a CV and portfolio that sells your benefits, not just your features Cut through email spam with a cover letter worth reading Build a consistent brand presence Tailor your content per channel
The workshop will be hosted by F*ck Being Humble founder Stef Sword Williams – with a Q&A to answer your most burning questions.

Join a panel of Young British Foodie Awards judges and finalists come together to discuss the relationship between London’s restaurants and the communities they are part of.
Hosted by Food Sharing judge and Munchies editor Phoebe Hurst, the roundtable will ask what responsibilities restaurants have to their local area, as well as probe issues of gentrification and the erasure of decades-old food spots. At a time when restaurant closures are rife and London can feel at the mer...cy of property developers and Brexit uncertainty, how can restaurateurs and locals join forces to keep our city vibrant and inclusive?
Founded by Amy Thorne (founder of TASTE PR), national food journalist Chloe Scott-Moncrieff and Lily Jones (AKA Lily Vanilli), The YBF Awards was set up to fill a gap in the food and drink awards arena. No other body exists to recognise the grassroots talent of the food and drink world – the unsung heroes and the up-and-coming visionaries nationwide, not just in London. The YBFs has become the go-to for finding “the ones to watch”, our future British greats.

all I can say is one of the best hotel concepts I have seen very high standard of customer service amazing internet mac set ups and a great selection of international staff with a buzzing bar & nightlife scene below!!

User

We had a great time when we stayed with you in February in one of your shoebox rooms. We want to come back for a couple of nights this summer. We are flexible, we just want the best price. Can you advise how we can secure the best deal.?

User

Visited here on 3/6/18 with my lovely lady. We were warmly greeted and seated straight away (it was really busy too).

We both ordered the breakfast hash, which was swiftly brought to our table. Beautifully presented, it was an excellent choice as it was totally totally enjoyable.

A fine fried egg topped the best tasting potato rosti I have ever had. Underneath was a delicious mix of cabbage, onion/spring onion, peppers and pulled salt beef. A finer “upmarket bubble n squeak” you’ll struggle to find.

I have been singing the praises of this meal ever since and am now advocating The Hoxton as a place to visit to everyone I meet at home in Sth Wales

I will definitely be going back to eat there again

User

The food was great, hot and tasty with good suzed portions. The service was good given that it was so busy. Slight issue with the bill which was soon rectified. Would i recommend? Most definitely! We were in london for 4 days, and it was the best meal we had.

User

I think we’ve stayed at Shoreditch 3 times now. Bed a little too soft for my liking but we love everything else, style, shower, rooms, breakfast bag, laid back downstairs area during the day, close to all our favourite places to eat and drink.

User

I love the Hoxton (Holborn)- laid back vibe with modern interiors and excellent service. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else when in London. The room rates are very competitive too.Staff go that bit further with a birthday balloon and 2 small bottles of prosecco once they found out it was my birthday.Wonderful.

User

Great place to stay in! Special thanks to Faith who organized surprises for us in the room as we were celebrating a special occasion!

Excellent and lovely boutique hotel right in the middle of Shoreditch. Close to all transport links and many bars and restaurants. The rooms are stunning and service is second to none. 100% will be back again

Always been a fan of the Hoxton online, and this was finally my first visit, and won't be my last. If your mad on style and interiors and good vibes then you need to give it a hit, the atmosphere in the evening was electric and the morning vibes so relaxed, an amazing balance if you haven't been then you should it's a beautiful place!!!!!🙌🏽5️⃣*️⃣

15th April 2017 - Below is the review of when we first visited the Hoxton. Upon reading my review, the manager very promptly contacted us to apologise for our uncomfortable night sleep and eagerly offered us a reduced rate in a fantastic room and complimentary breakfast. We have to say, that this time, we were not disappointed! The room was even more quirky and fabulous than the first and most importantly, a very comfy bed and no noise from below! TBF, we were put on the 6th floor this time, not the 2nd, but as long as you can always request a room in a higher floor on a Friday or Saturday night, that's fine. Breakfast, as before, was very tasty and staff were just as friendly. We would definitely recommend this hotel again and it's so lovely to see a company so keen to create a good reputation for their brand! Well done Hoxton!

27th March 2017 - 3/5 - A bit of a mixed review. Looks wise, its fantastic! Just the hipster chic I love! Staff at front desk and in restaurant for breakfast were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was amazing, highly recommended! Rooms were also beautifully decorated and very clean. Great location too, walking distance of Old Street. However, not being from London, we were unaware of what a night hot spot it was, with a lot of people coming in for dinner and drinks. Atmosphere seemed great when we returned at 11.30pm, but we just wanted to head up to our room. We were room 231, second floor and the music was VERY audible and still thumping away until st least 12.30, if not later. Wasn't sure if the music should of stopped earlier as it is primarily a hotel. I get it was a Saturday night, but still was not happy about having the music interrupt our sleep. Plus the beds were not as comfortable as you'd like - they definitely could go with the new mattresses Premier Inn have recently invested in! Such as shame about these last two points, as loved everything else! Lady on desk made our hotel drinks free to compensate, but two diet cokes didn't quite make up for some lack of sleep.

We’ve stayed at the Hoxton Shoreditch before and loved it. The rooms are great, as is the overall service, so can’t fault that. But this time we discovered that due to the new, ‘rocking vibe’ if you want to sleep make sure you’re not on floor 1. It’s still got a laid back vibe which we like, even if the music is louder than it seemed to be the last time we visited.

That said the management were great when we brought it to their attention. So, if you want a great time, but also the ability to sleep (and if like me a mouse can wake you up!), then just request a quieter room on a higher floor.

User

Very busy but excellent service. Room was nice and breakfast in a bag was fun especially with late check out of 12noon. We were probably eldest their but felt quite at home. Lots of laptops in use!

User

Third time here... And I love it. Nice place to sleep, relax, eat and celebrate London. Also very special is that everybody... And I mean everybody is so friendly here from the cleaning women till the reception.

User

I had the NY strip and I was very well cooked and very tasty.

If the menu had more choice it would have been 5 * but the lack of desserts were annoying. Not one chocolate pudding,I love chocolate pubbing!

User

Trendy, polite but all seats taken by people with a single coffee and laptop. Must be a good place to work!

However we were surprised to get a Kia Royale in a 'martini /margarita ' glass.

My cuba-libre was served in straight glass.

Popped across the road ... to very cocktail bar.
