When ever we are down in London, we never miss the chance to visit The Ivy, whether it's lunch or Dinner it never disappoints, last night was extra special.

Went for dinner here last night - Sunday 4th Feb, early Valentines dinner - so not to get ripped off during that week. Loved the food, loved the decor and ambience and the service was excellent. That's 3 done now, Chelsea, Marlow and now Kensington - all great!

Went for Afternoon Tea. Friendly staff, elegant, great value for money and good atmosphere.

We went here to celebrate my 40th birthday yesterday and the staff were fabulous and were so accommodating in delaying my reservation when I phoned them to explain we had been delayed on the train due to a fatality.



The food was delicious and we shall definitely be returning - thank you.

Was there for early dinner we had the set menu which was lovely and a really good price for the quality of food and the service was great

The steak and mushroom suet pudding is the best I ve ever tasted. It pastry was light and a bit crunchy and meat inside to tender and tasty. Wonderful cold weather comfort food. It was on their excellent value set menu.

Can’t wait to go back. Just so I can have the same again. I love the Art Deco interior and pictures of the Great Exhibition. My first visit to this branch. Staff delightful too.

The food was very good and plentiful. The cafe latte was perfect. Lovely setting. Our waitress was not the friendliest but fairly attentive. The only complaint was they brought my toast immediately and it was completely cold and soft by the time my eggs came.

Thank you so much for making us feel so special for our anniversary last Saturday evening. Friendly attentive service, delicious food, excellent wine and cocktails. Didn't feel rushed out either. Xxx

I think i was a very nice restaurant and a very interested stuf .the service were perfect. And the food couldn't be better . They come and asked us severel times how the food tasted.

I ordered my favourite, eggs Benedict. Service was very good, the food was delicious. I will definitely be visiting again.

Had the best time here this afternoon for afternoon tea what fabulous service from our delightful waitress and the food was delicious! The ambiance is gorgeous buzzy just the right side of chilled decadent! Loved it want to do Brunch next! And good value a nice bottle of wine for £22 so impressed we loved it! Thank you ������

Celebrated my birthday here yesterday with 6 friends We had a fabulous brunch with delicious food Service was excellent from the moment we walked through the door! We were able to hang our coats on a rack that was close to our table!

10 out of 10 .... excellent food and excellent value... particularly The crispy duck starter, the fishcakes, and the ice cream bombe. The service was impeccable .... staff were courteous and professional . Haven’t been before but will definitely return and highly recommend .

My first “Ivy” experience was this afternoon.



I ordered the soft goats cheese starter and a cream tea.



I was disappointed that the goats cheese was completely over-powered by the dressing on the endive, and my palate was dominated by both sweet golden raisin and piquant dressing - both of which were enjoyable in their own right, however, I chose this salad because I enjoy goats cheese, the flavour of which was conspicuous by its absence in this dish. To say I was disappointed is an understatement.



The cream tea was lovely.



Generous in portion size and with the welcome added touch of fresh strawberry.



I was disappointed that your tea range did not include Rooibos (Redbush) Tea, as a person for whom caffeine is not allowed on medical grounds, I found your choice of caffeine free options very limited.



Service was excellent.



As a lone diner, I was given a good table, giving a good view for “people watching”.



Overall a pleasant afternoon which would have been excellent had the goats cheese been of good flavour.

I’ll give it 4 stars ⭐️ due to the restaurant having to close due to no water problems with a burst main out side. Ambiance of restaurant was beautiful,food very tasteful, service was a bit hit & miss, mix up in order but not to bad, cocktails lush mid price. Overall a very pleasant lunch. Will go again.

I like the restaurant interior decor of picture frames, the bubble lightings and the exterior decor ..... blooming flowers. The ambience has an aura of class and elegance - table covered in white table cloth, waiters in black and white shirt and tie. The fish and chip I had was excellent served hot and crispy . The serving was generous. The service was fast and the waiting staffs are efficient, accommodating and friendly. The place is cramp with tables and can be ubtrosive. Almost everything about the place is special except that it is so noisy - not a place to eat, if you are looking for peace and quiet - otherwise it is a very pleasant experience. I enjoyed my lunch.

Great service and food. Staff were nicely attentive without being intrusive. Downside Pepper mill didn't work nor did the replacement borrowed one from the couple on the next table. I know...we had a smoked salmon starter ( delish) but I love a bit of freshly cracked pepper on it. Loved the lemon wrapped in muslin so we don't risk a pip moment.

Great atmosphere and the menu is great. I had the Tempura Prawns and Duck curry which were both great. Unfortunately my wife’s burger had to be sent back twice as the chef had trouble cooking it well done.

They did take it off the bill but not the special lunch we had hoped for.

This resto-bar is inappropriately popular to London I don’t understand because the food is medium tooo much cream too much grill too much all just the service is fine and lastly the noise ... terrible
