Went to the Jenny Wren on Sat lunchtime and I must say the food was amazing. When we were seated the waitress told us that there was a party of 34 dinning and our food might be a bit slow. However we didn't wait to long for our food, it was lovely and hot when it arrived and tasted amazing. Definitely going back again and would recommend to everyone to try it out ’┐Į

Went there this afternoon with my girlfriend for anniversary dinner, had the xl t bone steak she had the beef lasagne. Cant fault the food at all, steak cooked perfect to order and turned up after about 20 minutes. Very friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Definitely recommend going, will be going back myself 100%.

We visited here Easter Monday was served by Laura G who was friendly helpful and offered great advice on our meals,Laura was also great with the kids. The food was fresh, hot and arrived quickly. My steak was perfect. We really enjoyed our evening.

We had a family get together to Celebrate my grandsons 11th birthday. We hadnŌĆÖt booked a table but that was no problem as they soon made one up for us even tho there were 12 of us.

We all enjoyed our meals and I have to say the waitress was excellent , very friendly.

I would highly recommend the ŌĆ£Jenny WrenŌĆØ

We go here a lot and can not fault the food and the staff are always so friendly and prompt. The steak is perfect and the pizza the best. If you can't eat it all they will box it no problem. We now try to eat out here weekly. Well done to Karen last night.... so polite and friendly.

9 of family went on 14th July to celebrate my birthday. 3 children and 6 adults. We had a very good time and would go again. Very good service. All orders taken nothing missed.

After the meal we went out to the garden and the children had a great time on a wide selection of equipment.

We went to the Jenny Wren last night after not having been there since it was reopened. We asked for a table & the lady said she would come to the table & take our order, she did not, and I went to the bar to order. I wouldn't have minded ordering at the bar, however, it was the fact we were told we would receive table service & half an hour later we still didn't have a waitress take our order. When our food arrived my partners rack of ribs were cold to the bone, as if it had just came out of the fridge! When my partner took it back they said it would take 20 minutes to cook a replacement however a lady brought the same plate of food back 2 minutes later with soggy chips and onion rings and it was obvious it had just been microwaved. The lady denied this and said she watched the chef cook a fresh dish which was an absolute lie. My partner said he wanted a fresh one or we would not pay, to which the lady took mine & my daughters food away from us, clearing the table of everything but the drinks. As we were about to leave, the lady returned with a bill for the drinks, only I having drank half of mine & the other two party members drinks still full. We walked out hungry and appalled at the managers behaviour and went to McDonald's, where the service & food was 10 times better! We will NEVER return here even for drinks. There wasnŌĆÖt even an apology or any attempt to rectify our complaints

Visited yesterday as a party of 12 for a 50th and 24th Birthday meal, seated at our table at 7.30. At 7.40 starters and mains ordered. Finally received our starters at 8.30 with a massive hair in one of the starters. Prawns was frozen not fresh and had no flavour. Garlic bread was sent back as undercooked. Mains finally arrived at 9.30 at which we had to send back childs dinner as they was falling asleep while waiting. Ribs was watery and had no sauce or flavouring to them. All the chips tasted as though they had been reheated in microwave some of which had gone cold. Peas was cold. Steaks was ordered as medium rare, arrived looking like charcoal and very dry. Salmon looked more like a flipflop.

Asked to speak to manager, was asked whether it was regarding the chips, to which she later stated they was freshly cooked.... manager did not have the decency to come and speak to us, messages was relayed via the waitress. Mains was removed from bill, but we would not have payed for as unedible for human consumption. Our birthday meal was ruined and half the guests had travelled from London, extremely big disappointment. Resulted in a trip to McDonald's to have a decent meal. Atleast our waitress was well mannered and apologetic.
