About Us
Welcome to the LCM Junior College, an exciting Saturday performing arts school for young people in West London.
The LCM Junior College is proud to be part of the London College of Music at the University of West London: the largest provider of musical education in the UK. Providing the very best in performing arts tuition for 7-19 year olds, we offer courses in Music Performance, Theory, Drama and Musical Theatre.
Saturdays at LCM Junior College are more than just one-to-one lessons. We offer a whole musical experience and encourage students to join our ensembles and workshops too, engaging them in a fun and supportive environment.
We also offer vital preparation for IGCSE and Pre-U examinations and are an accredited examination centre. Our LCM exams are Ofqual accredited and points are gained towards UCAS (Grades 6 + ).
History
Founded by Dr William R Pasfield in 1959, LCM Junior College offers expert tuition in all instruments. An established centre of expertise in the classical music tradition (LCM is London's only Steinway Piano School), LCM Junior College also has a thriving Pop Music and Jazz Department. We also offer courses in Music Technology and Music Production, making use of our acclaimed recording studios and our established links with industry.
