Service was great and place was clean and tidy despite being really busy, will be back again next time we’re in the area

User

Out of all the pubs in London, we always gravitate back to this one! Had a lovely lunch yesterday and as it were a Saturday afternoon and very busy, the barman saw we were squashed onto a small table and kindly told us a table in the restaurant had become available so we moved over. Great service and great food! Will always return

User

Lovely pub. Rose wine was gorgeous. Great atmosphere and friendly staff

User

Had a great afternoon watching the rugby. Enjoyed the burger and chips. All before going to see the lion king and caught up with friends. Great time ...

User

Great drinks, great service, a really nice pub

User

Friendly staff, lovely food and very nice well looked after ales.

User

Excellent location in heart of Covent Garden. Great drinks 🍷 cocktails 🍸 and food. Best thing was the friendly staff who were the nicest people I’ve met in a pub or restaurant for a long time. Julian and his colleagues serving us dinner are to be congratulated.

User

Awesome pub with a great selection of cask & keg beers, well worth a visit

User

lovely pub in covent garden gorge food and service

User

We loved it our theatre was just across the road the service was great as was the 🥘

User

Lovely decor and food, reasonable price and great service. Excellent for a pre theatre lunch, got really busy late afternoon/early evening though.

User

I had a lovely veggie Sunday roast (on a bank holiday Monday). Great portion sizes. Only downside was the pub had run out of both types of gin I like, plenty more to choose from though. Really nice little pub to stop in after having a wander through Covent Garden. I'll be sure to pop in next time I'm in that way. One of the bar staff was so polite and a credit to the pub.

User

I first had a pint of Young's ordinary at the Marquess in 1964. Its a good pub still and the beer is fine. Nice staff. Costs more than half-a-crown now though...

User

Had lunch with family . Very good food and friendly staff . Thank you .

User

Great pub, great location food ok. We will be back.

User

Twats standing in the middle of the room blocking TV out and staff did nothing although there was space to stand elsewhere

User

The pubs looks really nice inside unfortunately that's the only good thing I can say about it as we only stayed for one drink because it took so long to get served. The pub wasn't busy at all but the bar staff seemed to busy gossiping to serve us. Once we got served we told the barman about our wait to which he didn't seemed bothered and to top it all the manageress who walked around in a dress way to small for her didn't seem bothered her staff weren't serving either......

User

Basically greeted with ‘computer says no’ when asking for a Campari Spritz as their system wouldn’t allow it. Even though they could physically make it.

User

Very loud and, possibly the most EXPENSIVE pub in London.

After a theatre visit I ordered 1 large glass of Rose wine and a non alcoholic Heineken and was charged £12:80. Half hour later I ordered the same drinks and was charged £14:70. When I questioned the price difference I was spoken to very abruptly and was told basically, tough, you want it you pay for it. How can a small alcohol free beer cost £5:60 (which is what I was told). It’s a disgrace. I know Covent Garden is a tourist trap but, please, this is taking the mickey. There is no justifiable reason for these prices. A 6 pack of these beers in Tesco is about £4:00.

Get a grip, stop taking the piss out of people. By the way, I’m not a tourist, I’m London born and bred and middle age so, it’s not that I can afford the prices I just hate to be RIPPED OFF.
