WOW WHAT A PARTY! Thanks to the 350 people who attended our Herts Pride Party last night. We had a fantastic crowd at the pub and I hope you enjoyed the acts and the DJ!

HERTS PRIDE AFTER PARTY - It's only 9 days away until Saturday 8th September and the countdown has begun. I am pleased to announce that it is FREE ENTRY for all and we have some great acts lined up from 10pm onwards. I'm sorry that the pub is closed today and tomorrow but we are hard at work making improvements! We open at noon on Friday and look forward to seeing you over the bank holiday weekend. Ben and the team.

It's only 25 days until Hertfordshire Pride and the after party which we will be holding at the pub from 9pm. We will also be in Gadebridge Park all day selling our delicious range of pizzas from Barrel and Stone

Our new buffets with fresh sandwiches, homemade sausage rolls, homemade chicken goujons and lots of other tasty things are proving to be very popular. We now announce our pizza buffets with delicious stonebaked pizzas from Barrel and Stone

Our Outdoor Bar and BBQ is open all weekend including from 6pm to 9pm this evening. We are also serving pizzas and salads from the outdoor bar so join us for a lovely sunny Friday night. Remember we do fantastic buffets too....

Join us at the Olde Kings Arms from 9pm on 8th September 2018 for the official Herts Pride After Party. Acts will include Drag sensation Vicky Vivacious and singer Allan Jay and DJ Ross Millson. The Pride After Party will be held in our fantastic beer garden with outdoor bar and BBQ. Free entry to those with a pride wristband and to customers who obtain a free ticket in advance from the bar.

Celebrating? You can book the upper garden or upper bar for your event and we do fantastic buffets from only £8 per head. We have catered for 5 groups in the last two weeks... check out our TripAdvisor reviews to see what our customers thought.

We stayed here on our wedding night Saturday 24th June 2017 & we couldn't be happier... they went the extra mile by scattering our bed with rose petals & red roses � & folded towels into swans/hearts.

They also placed champagne � on ice for our return.

Breakfast was lovely & the new landlord Ben couldn't have been more friendly & helpful.

We love this old pub, great ambiance and friendly staff and good food, we always pop in for a few jars on a night out.

This is a truly authentic English homely bar and hotel, fantastic food. What makes this venue such a unique experience though is the staff, Ben and Carol make you feel like you are part of their family and I am grateful to have spent two nights here.

Thanks To Ben and team for making last nights surprise party happen. The catering was excellent and everyone had a great time. Ben was flexible with arrangements and helped ensure we kept within budget

Lovely evening in the beer garden i never knew was there !! Outside bar/ food was great ... staff very chatty and friendly and helpful ... one let down ? Not enough comfy cushions in the seating area .. �

The pub has a nice atmosphere. And they do the best fish finger sandwiches with proper chips!

Had lunch here yesterday, friendly service, nothing was to much trouble, the food was excellent and very reasonably priced, all home cooked to order, they were child friendly, we will definitely be returning and look forward to the upcoming events and BBQ'S.
