We stayed at the Orchard holiday park this weekend and loved every minute. Our deluxe caravan was spacious and well equipped. All of the staff were friendly and polite and went out of their way to provide good service - we were particularly impressed by James (team leader) in the Mash and barrel. We will certainly be contemplating a return visit!

We have had yet again another amazing holiday at this much loved Haven Resort... It shines head and shoulders above the rest... Security are amazing, Caravans clean and well equipped. The entertainment is super and the cleaning staff and reception staff were to awesome for words! Thank you especially to Gemma on reception who checked us out before doors opened Sunday morning. Absolutely 11 out of 10 for this whole team who clearly year after year are a TEAM!!!

Was such a great place loved every minute will definitely be going again as pool was great lovely parks and food was reasonably priced. Caravan was clean and comfortable.

User

Touring site is excellent, nice big sized pitches. Site had suffered with recent rain like everywhere else, some pitches had rutted a wee bit. Toilet block very clean. And guess what no noise....

Sunday roast was very nice and to have it in the sun over looking the pool 🏊‍♀️🏊‍♂️

We had a great 5 Days.

I have returned to the orchards with my daughter and friends this weekend. We always look forward to our weekend breaks & have a great time. I have always found all staff helpful and friendly but this evening they have gone above and beyond. I misplaced both my purse & phone. I panicked and was devastated. All staff listened me and directed me where to go and it was obvious they worked as a team as the message had been radioed to everyone across the park. I spoke to staff members in the live lounge, Daniel & Amanda, who assured me they would look for my phone and purse. Within minutes Amanda & Daniel found me and returned them both to me personally. I can’t describe the joy of having them returned so quickly. A big sprinkle of holiday magic and I’m ever so grateful. I want to thank any holiday makers if they helped tonight too. I’m very thankful & I’m looking forward to enjoying the rest of my holiday.

I have a friend who owns her caravan here. I visit often sometimes alone/with my husband and 3yr old granddaughter. She has a water side plot which is lovely, so peaceful with ducks, Coots and swans. My granddaughter loves feeding them. Your spoilt for choice with swimming pools, there are three. One large outdoor at the owners lounge, another outdoor for everyone by the Mash and Barrel (bar/ restaurant) and the indoor for when weather not do good.

Entertainment is good for adults and children. Our granddaughter loves the nature area with Teepee where ranger Jamie runs an assortment of activities.

There's usually something happening at the owners lounge at weekends and of course there's the live lounge which has children's entertainment early evening followed by bingo and a variety of acts for the grown ups.

The park also has a pub on-site which also has things going on weekend evenings and a lovely beer garden.

The park is well kept, and when we go (usually midweek term time) very peaceful.

User

Had a great week despite the naff weather only thing that spoils it it the owners who think they own the park not just their caravan, and look down on holiday makers

User

Not enough free clubs on for the children especially older children, didn’t want to pay £5 /£10 per child for other activities. Shame the park was a bit small & could have done with an area for children to play ball games. The club house didn’t have enough seating & the lodges were cold at night , with an oven that took forever to cook in. On plus side entertainment was good they worked hard at keeping adults & children entertained & food was nice.

User

Lovely park great accommodation and lovely staff...but the food is horrible. Mash and barrel dirty, warmed up rubber chips is not the 1...scampi upset me and my husband's cod was watery inside the batter, horrid. Hot dogs and donuts advertised on a bill board, but actually only available in the kids school holidays, not tried the pizza place or Chinese.. ..we went out instead and found some lovely places to eat. Shame...

I liked the site as there is area to walk dog, few parks and outside pool is nice. However, I would not stay on a Haven site again unless with the same private seller who luckily had paddling pool and bits for my son to use. We went purposely because we thought Haven had a lot on for all the kids of all ages. Saturday there was no entertainment on until about 12 and it was 5 years and above. Everything free was very basic like making drawings of of pebbles and leaves. Otherwise it was £5-10 per activity! The swimming pool was very boring no slides, only allowed an allocated hour slot which they don't tell you about until you are wanting to go into the pool. Entertainment was half hour at 6pm for my 3 year old child then bingo. Monday I thought there was entertainment on and it was in fact a buy a breakfast then a teddy will come say hello. So more money. If it wasn't for the private caravan having lots to do it would have been a waste of money. The entertainment passes cost us nearly what we paid for the holiday. I would not come here again or any Haven far too expensive. You don't expect to have to pay for everything. The parks were OK all very small though.

User

Had a nice time with my family. But not keen on the actual site- worst haven I have been too. Placed in a caravan 20min walk from everything- no one else staying that end completely empty. caravan sofa very dirty on arrival- which we got sorted by a very nice cleaner. Site looks very run down in places. Clubhouse looks run down. Very small pool- (no water slides like other havens I have visited) and clubhouse/arcades for size of site. No indoor play area. Mash and barrel food and staff very nice. Wouldn't come back. Much better havens about.

User

Accomodation was great if not a little far from all the life.

Neighbours very noisy and at times inconsiderate if having a 2 year old.

Club is very old and not a patch on other Haven sites.....

The fun stars were hardly seen in or around the club and not very friendlyand in fact at times very rude. Again this is compared to other Haven sites we have been too.

Holiday was ok here but don't think we will be returning to this park rather go back to the ones we loved.

Pool was great here though.....

User

Upgraded so could book in at 3 our caravan wasn't ready till 4.10

mash and barrell the food had to be sent back one plate food was cold other one they missed sides off it Run out of kids desserts and is expensive for what you get

BUT MUST SAY SCOTT WAS SO NICE AND HELPFUL

We will definitely be going back to Hopton there site and staff is a million times better

This weekend has been too busy for the size of the clubhouse. Friday couldn’t get a seat by 4.45. Last night certain guests let their kids terrorise other kids. We also felt we had to stay because we had asked for a birthday mention when we first arrived, was told 8pm. By 8.45 we gave up before those guests made things any worse! Then I had my plant pot taken from the front of my caravan.

User

My son has autism. On the last night of our stay he lost his coat (it's extremely hard to find a coat he likes) we check everywhere we had been it wasn't found & wasn't handed in so clearly stolen (we only went 2 places) I'm sorry but it's some trampy people that will steal & wear someone else's coat. I'm appalled at the lack of community spirit compared to other haven sites.
