We visited Royal Tunbridge Wells for the day and were recommended to stop at The Pantiles. After walking round the shops we took ourselves off to Pantiles. It's Lovely, we stopped at one of the many outside eateries for some lunch. We had a lovely time. I would love to watch a music event there and I bet it's lovely at Christmas. Will definitely return.

We used to live in TW, it's fantastic to go back and absorb the atmosphere and patronise some of the lovely restaurants and coffee bars and to browse through the great shops. Mottrams is always a must and a visit to Hooper's a few minutes walk away.

We are staying in a flat right in the Pantiles! How fabulous is that? It is such a fun place to people watch, shop and dine...and have a cold one while doing all three!

There is no other place like the #Pantiles

The Pantiles is one of my favourite places, its full of atmosphere and the perfect place to sit and have coffee and people watch.

Regularly visit the Pantiles to soak up the atmosphere and shops or markets/music going on. We like to take our small dog, who is welcome in Lukes, which is an excellent choice for a coffee, cake or light lunch. Well with a visit whatever time of year.

Quaint and full of character. Tea shops and other shops to peruse. Look forward to a return visit to this historical town.

One of the best NYE ever at Hug-many on the Pantiles. Atmosphere, music, fireworks, bagpipes & for charity....excellent⭐️

Nothing like the Pantiles on a lovely summers day

Lovely place to visit ! Nice atmosephere, plenty of bars & restaurants. Shops lovely. A relaxing place to stay very warming.

Love the open air music nights and the weekend markets through out the year.

I was lucky enough to be on a Christmas works do here in their private dining upstairs and the food was outstanding even with our big party. Will definitely be back

I used to live and work on The Pantiles, and I loved it! Especially jazz nights (when I had the night off) which we enjoyed through open windows x and when it snowed, it was truly beautiful x I don't think everyone there has a stick up their bottoms, maybe one or two but this is Royal � Tunbridge Wells after all � long live The Pantiles!!!

I only end up here in a professional manner as a musician. I've never been dissatisfied. The audiences have always been great

Had a great night of live music with Noel McCalla Derek Nash and Chums, last night. Fantastic venue, amazing atmosphere, and a right Royal experience. Definitely a place to return to.

Had a good walk round the Pantiles with many individual shops and eateries. Stopped at the Cake Shed for coffee. Lovely coffee and very nice staff. Fortunate to get a seat outside and able to relax .

Great night on again in two weeks well worth going

Great destination for a meal or snack, had lunch at newly opened Fish market, great oysters and service

Great atmosphere, good music and everyone seems very nicer.

Enjoyed a great evening at the Soul train live music event.

Beautiful memories made with my husband and grandchildren. Been back a couple of times.

A beautiful place to shop and eat.

The twice monthly markets are a must

We attended the New Year Hug Many event and it was excellent. Well done the organisers!!

Lovely to be back on the Pantiles - a haunt from my school days. Love the cafe society that has emerged but what's happening at the empty Corn Exchange?

I love The Pantiles but I wish the outdoor market was more established. Such a shame only having a handful of stalls. Could be so much better!

Expierenced the Hug-many New years eve event. Was definately worth the £10pp. The atmosphere was really good and very safe for little ones to attend. The fireworks were fantastic. Would definately recommended to others.

Jazz nights as good as always, but disappointed by the Indian restaurant Kirthon.. slow service and poor attitude by the waiter.. I'd give it a miss on Jazz nights as they cannot cope and quality drops.. As to the Pantiles worth a visit

It a okay place to visit. Wasn't impressed with flys on fresh food being sold.

As usual a good crowd at the Jazz night but the music was not loud enough . Presumably this is down to the usual party poopers who try to ruin anything that Tunbridge Wells does

Expensive, no variety and the bakery items were not fresh. The Brownie lady however... awesome!

It was our second visit to the Pantiles in Royal Tunbridge Wells and it was made very uncomfortable by the Italian restaurant GASTRONOMIO. G. It is a shame that such a restaurant is being represented by the Pantiles - which is a great place to go for a walk as a family and enjoy cup of coffee and shop at the market.

To all families with small children I WOULD STRONGLY advice against visiting GASTRONOMIO G restaurant! The restaurant clearly has a policy against welcoming families with children! Firstly we were told that all front tables were reserved and were directed towards the rear of the restaurant, precisely near the toilets! To mention there was only 2 tables occupied at that moment.We politely asked if they could accommodate a table for 3 near the window. Only after the owner/manager intervened we were given a table not near the toilets!. It was a long wait for the menu cards upon which we discovered that there was no provision in the menu for children! We have ordered food, drinks and were waiting for the order when one of the furthest tables started saying very loudly (so we could hear) that our child is very annoying and we should control him better. To mention our son is 2.5 and yes, he might be annoying to some but we always make sure he doesn't disturb other people. After 3 or so LOUD remarks from that table I stood up and asked if they would prefer if we had left? To which they answered yes! The owner/manager of the restaurant was sitting near by and heard and saw everything however he did nothing! And when I told him that we will be cancelling our order he just said ok! We asked him if that's normal for this restaurant to get abuse from the other customers and his reply was: ''What can I do!''

Once again, please do not go to this restaurant, the atmosphere is not friendly, children are not welcome and the menu was very average!

For the management of The Pantiles I really hope that you will be taking some action as the treatment we got at the GASTRONOMIO G restaurant was unacceptable!!!
