It’s our favourite time of week again... Fizz Friday!!! 🥂🍾 Prosecco only £15 all day to celebrate the end of the working week. Perfect to get you in that weekend mood💃🏼

Our sparkling Ribena drinks are so refreshing, a perfect soft drink to accompany your meal (if you’re being good and waiting for the weekend🥂)... the kids love them too! At only 15 calories a bottle they’re perfect 😍

Our Four Cheese Pizza looking delicious 😍 all our pizzas are made with hand stretched dough, stone-baked to order... how can you resist!

A couple of our tasty sandwiches - perfect for a bite to eat at lunchtime. Sandwiches and light bites served alongside our main menu 12-5pm Monday-Saturday 🥙

food was amazing value for money and beautiful..had the fixed price 2 course lunch..mushrooms for starter and burger for main..fiancee had chicken and thyme pie..beautiful food...v clean..lovely atmosphere lady behind the bar was exceptional ..eye for detail and very courteous..a credit to the landlady. would definately reccommend highly..

Went today for a three course meal out with friends. The service was spot on...nothing was too much trouble. Food was beautiful and looked too nice to eat! Was NOT disappointed!!! One of our group needed a a special diet and they accommodated without a second thought!!! They substituted products for alternatives and she was so happy with her meal!!!! Well done staff at the Peacock!!!

Went for a meal last night and the food was excellent. The team were amazing and Craig was really bubbly and had a laugh and a joke with us even though it was late in the evening and really busy. I will be definently going to the peacock again.

We were a party of 12 and I must admit that I'd not heard very good reviews about this place. I can't fault the food, all coming out at the same time and all hot. The service was fantastic, the staff could not do enough for you. Thank you we had a great night.

We recently had an unpleasant experience here a few weeks ago and also wrote a review to say so. We went back on Saturday and what a difference. All the staff were so friendly and welcoming and Clare the manager even came over for a chat. Our opinions have definitely changed and will be going back again!

Last night we decided to go back and try again... couldn’t get over the difference. Everything from when we walked in to when we left, was lovely.

The staff were really welcoming, the manager Clare came over to say hello and was so warm and friendly, we really couldn’t have asked for more.

We all tried different things off the menu and were impressed at the level of service and the food was beautiful. The waitress did a great job popping by and checking we had everything but not in your face at the table all the time.

A huge thank you to all the staff and the chef � for changing our minds and making us want to come back again.

You’re all brill and we had a lovely evening �

They were brilliant from start to finish. The food and service were top notch!

Staying at the premier inn next door while working at Oulton Park and we’ve eaten here 3 nights running & can’t speak highly enough, the staff are very attentive, friendly and the food was lovely ! Thank you we’ll be happy to come back next year 😉

I have been to this pub about 3 times now and it's been better every single time the food is amazing the steak is to die for I will be going back for sure as it's in a nice area chilled out atmosphere truly lovely place

Staying at the Premier Inn near to The Peacock and had supper in the restaurant. Vintage Inn Group, nice decor, good service and the fish and chips were delicious 😋 The Shiraz wine was also very good. Had morning coffee with friends and again it was good experience.

Nice pub, lovely decor, one bar staff servicing on a Saturday pm.�. Expensive crisps.

We were a little bit disappointed by the girl who waited on us, she was very rude! And it seemed to us like she didn't want to be at work, when asking what we wud like 4 drink I asked what j20s were on the drinks menu for my 5 year old daughter and I ordered one, when it came my little girl tasted it and said it was fizzy! And as my daughter doesn't drink fizzy pop I asked the girl who was waiting on us if we cud swap it, she just said u will have 2 pay 4 that one, so I just agreed, anyway in the meantime, everthing we seemed 2 ask her seemed hard work, and considering our bill was 120 pound I was shocked by the way we were treated, the food was ok, but the service was shocking!

Service is good and the place is really lovely.

Unfortunately the food isn’t up to scratch. Pizzas just about ok, Sunday lunch awful.

Dog friendly and a lovely pub, just need to up their game food wise I’m afraid!! Fingers crossed �

Just been for tea at the pub and we were very disappointed. I asked for the Sunday platter and was told that they had run out of two of the meats so I asked if they could do me turkey and the beef short rib from the beef platter instead. They said yes they could but

They would have to charge me the price for the beef platter even though they had no beef and that the manger would go mad if he put it through at the Sunday platter price. I said no, I wasn't happy paying the higher price so I would just have the turkey. When it came the roasties were burnt, the Yorkshire pudding was overly crispy and the chef had forgotten to put on the lemon and thyme stuffing on. My husbands fish and chips were also a little disappointing. The fish batter was very dark and the fish was dry. We would have advised a member of staff but no one came to check if our meal was ok or even asked when we went to the bar to pay. We have had a couple of meals here resentful and really enjoyed them. So to have this one that was below what we were used to was a bit disappointing. Also, if your bar staff are ill it would be advisable for them to stay off work until feeling better. Coughing behind the bar does not portray a very good image and questions your hygiene standards.

Service was ok as it wasn't very busy, had fish finger sandwich but all I could taste was grease, the taste of the lightly smeared tartare sauce didn't even come through. The onion rings which I ordered extra to accompany the meal also only tasted of grease. I ordered a coke and received Pepsi max, I don't drink diet drinks (even though I probably should!!) but wasn't told when I ordered it that they didn't do the full sugar version! I've been before and it wasn't too good, thought I would try again as they may have been having an off day, was disappointed yet again.

Not eaten here for a long time. Bar Man rude did not know the wine list. “You are sitting in the wrong place” Hot fish cold mushy peas barely warm chips. It will be a long time before we return!

Have visited this pub on several occasions as it is convenient for my working lunches.

I have noticed about the lack of staff on numerous occasions which causes poor customer service.

Yesterday I visited along with my husband and was appalled by the way I was spoken to by who I believe is the new manager. Something I will be putting in writing to the company.

Am disgusted at the service received and the obvious pressure put onto the one member of staff (always seems to be the same lady)

Would not recommend if you want to be treated in a polite manner
