⭐️⭐️⭐️ We are looking for a talented, motivated and passionate Chef to join our team here at the Queen’s Head. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
The role will involve looking after all sections of the kitchen while preparing dishes, keeping your section stocked and ready for service. You will have an active part to play in seasonal menu planning and will work closely with the Head Chef and Front of House. You should have experience working with fresh food and be able to work under pressure maintaining ...our high standards and food safety procedures. The candidate must be ambitious, disciplined and have real passion and understanding for fresh cooked food. You will come from a fresh food background and be looking to develop your career within a small family run business. You will be creative, confident and committed with proven successful experience. You must be able to cover all areas of the kitchen and be supportive towards your colleagues.

We wanted to say a massive thank you to you all for excepting us at late notice in for dinner Saturday night, and well I'm so glad you did, what a fantastic pub the staff were top notch, the ambience of the pub was superb and on top of that the food was exceptional.

We had homemade pate to start followed by lamb shank with veg and cod and chips , oh and a couple of sides food was tasty and served hot. Unfortunately we were so full after this dessert went by the wayside oh until I turned the dessert board and I had to have the lemon merengue and I'm so glad I did.

Thank you highly recommended and certainly will return maybe even a special journey from Billericay to enjoy your hospitality again .

We are becoming regulars. The best Sunday roast you could wish for. Other dishes excellent too. And the Lemon Meringue pie? Just delicious. All excellent value price wise too.

Was greeted by friendly staff and a lovely warm, cosy open fire. Perfect for a chilly Winter's evening. Food was great!-perfect size portions for a wallet friendly price. Would definitely recommend this pub for any event; from either a quiet pint or family meal, it caters for all.

Took my mum and aunt here for Sunday lunch they can b picky eaters but thought give it a go! Greeted and brought to our table. Plenty of food to choose from I went for a whitebait starter and steak ale pie, my mum and aunt had the roast. Sizes were massive and delicious deffo recommend to all my mum and aunt want to go back soon!! Thanks to all looking forward to coming back :) x

Played at the recent open mic night, was a nice warm and friendly place, I enjoyed playing for them, and I got the feeling they liked it as much as I did, so I thank them for that, cheers everyone.

Lovely food and great staff. Very friendly and especially accommodating to our allergy kids who have several special dietary needs. Bouncy castle and climbing frame in beer garden went down especially well with the kids and kept them out of mischief until food was ready. Highly recommended

Just had Sunday lunch at the Queens Head. We had walked from five lakes hotel to pub. Not far in fact a nice walk shame about some dodgy bends. Upon arrival was greeted by a lovely gentleman serving the bar. I had roast beef and my daughter pork (Sunday roast) it was very nice especially the gravy. Desert crumble excellent. Wanted to get a cab back making several calls being told 17.00 for a mile down road, ridiculous. The lovely landlady.gave us a lift back to the hotel. What more could anyone ask for. Excellent food, service, prices and the courteously of a lift. Thank you for a lovely afternoon. Would definitely recommend.

I have just had a surprise 60th birthday party here. The staff were amazing and everything was perfect . I couldn't have wished for a better time. 😍 We were able to take over the whole pub and even had a space for dancing 💕 The evening was quite balmy so people could stay out in the beautiful beer garden too. I'd have never thought it could be done , especially at short notice . There were over 60 people there and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves and said how comfortable and relaxed the pub was. Thank you so much queens head . You did us proud !!

Came here with friends last night and enjoyed the best steak n ale pie I've ever eaten. All the food was lovely, staff very friendly and the service very good. Never got to try a dessert as the portions were big and we had no room. Obviously an excellent drinkers pub too as the bar was very busy. Would definitely recommend a visit!

Been Going to The Queens Head for years now ,can not recommend it enough,lovely friendly owners and staff ,lovely meals to ,none of this frozen rubbish really enjoyed our Sunday lunch here ,took my dear mum ,she to enjoyed her roast dinner .I too had my 60 th birthday party here with my family,some seven years ago ,we were well looked after .Also may I say Doggies are welcome in the bar area .x🐾🐾🎉🎉🎊🎊 Linda Kingstone ( Ex Blackberry Bakery owner )
