Small hotel in Colchester requires a part time chamber maid required to work between the hours of 11am and 30m (check in and check out times) and weekends preferably with experience and own transport Hours of work are based upon the volume of custom. We stayed one night at The Railway Sleeper's Lodge in Mile End Road. It was a 2 bedroom accommodation and I cannot fault it. The rooms have everything you need. It is self check in but it is made so easy for you. Communication is also excellent. There is a bus stop just across the road if you don't have a car. Would definately use again
We (three of us) stayed the weekend of 18 November in a 2 bedroom suite. The accommodation was clean, warm, nicely decorated, and facilities were good (iron, hair dryer, small fridge, microwave). Note that there is no communal area but the rooms/suites are compact and self -contained. Parking was at the back.
Way above the standard expected for the price and could have done with staying an extra night just to experience the huge bath. Would definitely recommend and would definately stay here again.
This place is great, the booking system is great and the communication is fantastic, everything we needed to know for our stay and self check in was sent exactly when it should have been, even to the after care asking how our stay was and could it improve. I am so impressed by that alone. The rooms were small but so well equiped, extreamly clean and comfortable beds too. We stayed in the suit for 3 people each room had a microwave mini fridge stocked with complimentary water and orange juice, tv, free wifi, iron and board. And above all it was so affordable. We will definatley stay again and highly recommend. Thank you
This is a great place to stay, with a lot of thought gone into the room. microwave, mini fridge, fan, TV, ironing board, iron , usb points for charging phones plus love the little extras on arrival great friendly touch.
Comfortable bed, great night sleep, kept the windows closed so the traffic did not bother us at all, Love the shower very powerful.
The whole place was very clean and practical. Free off road parking too.
Highly recommend and will be booking again.

Iovely place to stay in Colchester, great ubication close to the station and very confy B&B
I stayed at the Railway sleeper lodge for two weeks. The compact clean bedroom with a bathroom en suite has ever thing you could need including a hot power shower, kettle, microwave, fridge and TV. I liked the extra touches including drinks in the fridge and a ready supply of coffee and tea. The bus stop is opposite and the train station is only a short walk away. Asda is nearby too. The helpful owners answered any queries straight away. Beware of steep stairs to the second floor! Thank you for a lovely stay.
