They are in early every morning preparing all the food from scratch, making sure they are only using the best seasonal fruit, veg and finest cuts of meat from local British farms.

Went here for a friend's birthday.. food was lovely.. staff where friendly.. waitress was named chelsea she was absolutely amazing

Visited on Sunday afternoon for a roast with my family. Had a roast which was perfect and really great service. Olivia our waitress was super friendly. Great location!

Visited for the first time yesterday. Good food and fantastic service from our host Olivia. Would recommend and will be returning again!

I spent New Year’s Eve 2017/2018 here and it was amazing! There was a DJ, great vibes, good looking people and fine and cold beer. So cool watching the fireworks by the River Thames! The place is pretty nice for a friends gathering and staff is friendly. Chef Tony is the best!

I found this place by accident yesterday and ran in to get out the rain and the staff were really lovely and chatty. Plus the food was great, I will definitely be coming back!

Had a great night here on Friday night! Atmosphere was fantastic and the view is amazing! We were taken care of by Olivia she catered for all our needs! And was just a lovely friendly lady! Will definitely be making it regular for all of those reasons!! Highly recommend

Gorgeous pub right on the river, perfect spot to have prosecco with friends on a sunny day in their terrace!

Fantastic hallumi burger and chips great too. Very observant head waitress who anticipated our every need. Throughly recommend this place

The venue is good being as it is, as the name would imply, overlooking the river. Our waitress (we chose the area with table rather than self service) was a delight. She smiled the whole time despite having to keep going indoors to get things she had been told would be brought out to her. Although when our mains arrived they were delivered by someone else who said they would bring cutlery. However on the way they became involved with new arrivals and it was only me getting up to do it myself that they suddenly realised their priorities were slightly askew.

The food itself was good and there was enough of it! However the description of my dessert was not accurate - said Eton Mess but no meringue - so the lovely waitress took it upon herself to take it off the bill. She was a star, let’s hope management listen to her when she talks about how things could be done better.

Really nice pub and have been there many times! Will still go back....BUT, organised a drink there the other week and pre-ordered some platters! For the price of them they were very expensive and extremely lacking in quantity!! Total waste of money! Apart from that, lovely time! Just avoid the platters! �

Great location but tired and scruffy - service at the bar is usually slow and haphazard, generally preferring to serve girls ahead of guys. The terrace could be lovely but worn out furniture and scruffy layout is disappointing. Dirty glasses. Head to The Nine Elms (just five minutes walk further down the river) for a much nicer experience.

Went there for lunch looked very nice from outside not bad inside but food was not good bubble and squeak with mostly large lumps of raw onion sweet potatoes roast cold

Not traditional as known service very slow when empty will not go there again.

Lovely position on the river might be good on a summers day outside

Waited over 10 minutes to be served, staff all look miserable, don't even acknowledge you, not even busy and can't cope with customers

The rudest, most incompetent, threatening, outrageously awful staff I have EVER encountered. I won’t go back and id advise any remotely civil human being to AVOID THIS PLACE, you can do much better, go to McDonalds, at least their staff have some concept of customer service.



Dreadful.

The bar atmosphere was pretty cool as it was by the river, but that was about it. The service was the poorest I've seen in a while (we ordered and paid for our drinks, the person serving us went to pour, suddenly left and 15 minutes later we had to interrupt another server to get our wine for us)



Ordering drinks took so long even though there weren't that many people. The food was just OK nothing special but took a really long time to come out considering it was just bar food. Considering there was a pub quiz that night I would have thought the bar will prepare quite well but it was the polar opposite. I overheard people that had been overcharged and complaining to the staff. Great views but I doubt I would go back here.

Me and my partner went here for roast today. Really bad. Roast was one of the worst! We had roast pork. The pork bellow was soft no roast element. The roast potatoes were more like boiled and the gravy was water with no taste. What is it with these places that charge you a premium for crap. Where is the pride? The chef sent out like that and waitress served looking bad. It makes me so angry and disgusted....



Shame on you!

It was a terrible place. Service was appalling. We waited ages for food and it never came. Our friends ordered their food and when it came it didn’t have what the menu specified so we sent it back. We saw varios people having the same issues, with the service. On top of that the staff were impolite.

Burger came out cold, they resent the same burger with the bite missing and tried to cover it up with cheese. The treatment of a homeless man after by them just makes me not want to return here.

Appalling service, staff are rude beyond belief. We were so disgusted with the total lack of service that we actually left and wen to the restaurant next door, that is how bad it was at The Riverside.
