For one special night, The Rocket will be transforming itself and taking you back in time to the 1970s Iconic New York night club, Studio 54. So all you candy-floss divas and bubblegum dervishes, bring all your alter ego friends and come join us on the dance floor with your flawless moves for some juicy grooves cos it's gonna get hot and funky. Dress-up is not obligatory but if you ever dreamed of being Andy Warhol, Grace Jones, John Travolta, Divine, Olivia Newton-John or any of a whole host of celebrities who graced the dance floor, now is the time to release that dream. Went there Christmas Day- food was excellent! Really had a great day. Not many places you find for seating for 3pm which really suited everyone. Service was great and was made feel very welcome with kids.

Was in there for Father's day lunch & have to say that the place is looking great with its new & on going upgrade.

The new meal list is great but we do miss the Peri-peri chicken wings & like with the drinks, the prices are reasonable.

With the summer now here, it's a nice place to go, to or from the park.

The Rocket is back.......



We had a wonderful diner on Thursday night , 14th April, at the Rocket.

Fillip hosted us with panache, and I can assure you that they are back on form, even stronger!

We started with Pan-fried Scallops and Pork Belly, accompanied by a wonderful pea pur├®e.

We continued with a Rolled Lamb shoulder for myself and Pan -fried Salmon with quinoa for Paul.

We still had some space for a cheese selection and a very generous fruit crumble ans custard .

I was even able to taste ! All very yummy

The White Sancerre was delicious - We could have been tempted for some more, but not on a school night !

Portions are very sensible and you very much get value for your money.



I am so glad the Rocket Pub has now bounced back and I urge all of you to give it another try and support Fillip and your local business once again.



Very well deserved.

TgevRocket is back to how it used to be but maybe better!

We are so pleased to have found this gem to hold a special celebration. The team at The Rocket were incredibly helpful and the food was delicious with fresh ingredients and quality, home made dishes. A place that's welcoming warm and friendly. Carina the dog groomer is my son's mother in law. We came yesterday to deliver her restored motorbike. Felt so happy to be there . Also the place where James met kattja and they went back to celebrate their wedding a few years ago. Will come again x
