We called in last night at 5pm not really expecting to get a table. We were greeted by a staff member who’d not even took his coat off & told a table had just become free. Love service like this. We ordered & told there would be a slight delay but this just made our night out a bit more leisurely. Our food arrived & it was delicious. Highly recommend the roast beef Sunday lunch. My husband especially enjoyed the rhubarb & raspberry sponge. The waitress was very friendly & spoke to our 2 year old daughter & even shouted bye to her when we left. Thanks for a nice meal, we’ll be back �

My wife and I go here regularly, normally lunch time and always have a sharer... The last few weeks we have been on a Thursday steak night, odd occasions may have to wait a little longer depending on how busy they are,but that's fine, just means I have to have another pint..

My fiancé and I stopped here for brunch on Sunday 10/06/18 on our return journey from North Wales. I had the French toast with bananas and my fiancé had bubble and squeak...both were amazing, filling and a reasonable price. The staff were warm and friendly.



Would defiantly recommend dining here.

Me and my partner came for the steak and wine night, last night.

The service was brilliant.

We were put in a table right in the middle which I felt uncomfortable with, as soon as a table in the corner came free I asked the waitress if we could move there, she was very kind and went straight over to clean it for us.

The steak was lovely, no fat at all( which we normally struggle to get)

The dessert was also really lovely.

The only problem was the wait on food but it was getting busy so understandable.

So all in all a very good first visit, will be 1 of many.

I go the sacred orchard normally once a week with friends or hubby. Never had a bad experience, have the best service and most delicious food.

Went Saturday night and it was so busy but were seated at our reserved table immediately and didn't wait long for our food which was delicious.

Has a great meal here and can’t believe all the bad comments. Service was great and friendly. Food was lovely and very enjoyable.

First visit yesterday Nicest steak & Ale pie iv ever tasted Great food fast service lovely waitress shame we didn’t catch her name young Irish girl will definitely be back keep it up guys

Visited today, With my family we all had excellent meals from the starter, mains and dessert, very good service from very friendly staff, only wish it was nearer to where I live ( Birmingham) but if I am this way again will definitely visit.

Hubby and I went last night and ordered the steak deal 2 steaks + bottle of wine £22. The waiter who served us was extremely polite and friendly. I like my steak medium rare and hubby likes his medium well done, I asked for a jacket potato rather than chips. There was a little delay in the food arriving but not enough to complain about. Both steaks were cooked as requested. My steak had rather a lot of gristle so when the waiter asked if everything was okay I pointed this out to him. He immediately apologised, spoke to the chef and I was presented with a £5 off my next meal voucher. Can’t complain about that either. All in all, an enjoyable evening and we will be returning even if we didn’t have £5 to spend!

Called in here as wanted something quick and never been before. Service wasn’t great if I’m honest, member of staff with her phone hanging out of her back pocket, there was a bloke there looked like some sort of manager was talking to this member of staff I’d of thought he would of made her put it away there is nothing that looks worse. Food was good to be fair, and setting also! Would call back again for a quick bite to eat

We won't be going back in a hurry, terrible customer service. We had ordered the 3 course and a drink children's meal for our son and when ordering we weren't asked for a dessert choice, which is perfectly normal as you would normally order dessert after your main. After finishing the main we went to order his dessert to be told we should have ordered it with the rest of the food (though we were never asked for a dessert order). We were then told if we show the receipt they could sort it out however they hadn't given us a receipt when we ordered so found ourselves in a catch 22 situation with the staff reluctant to help us. So left with a very disappointed 5 year old.

Service at the bar and for food was very slow considering it was only about a quarter full at best.

Food that had was nice enough for a chain restaurant.

Long wait for first drinks order to come. Just popped in for something quick whilst journeying from chester to derby. Meal came in reasonable time although my fish n chips were not up to my expectations, my friends quite enjoyed their meals. We ordered desserts which arrived late and only after our waitress queried if we had recieved them... paid the bill by £30 cash and the rest on card which the waitress processed and went away leaving the cash behind. Good job we are honest and represented the cash.

Been to the sacred orchard several times and food has been fantastic went yesterday and food was not up to its usual standard hope this was just a blip I had the chicken tikka and it was dry not much sauce popodom wasn’t crispie and was soggy my friend had the bacon burger with cheese and this wasn’t much better just hope guys this was a blip and not an ongoing standard

We were there yesterday to try out the Food cos was told IT WAS GREAT THERE.. Was very disappointed. Pub was alright but the Food,Food presentation and customer service was shyt.. Needs a UPGRADE!

We also ordered a afternoon tea platter to share..omg the little cakes and biscuits that came with it was soggy and like cardboard when I tried it..had a bit of ice cream with it..even that was melted in its tiny bowl.

I always leave a 5.00 tip everywhere we eat...Not this time! We won't be going back..!!

It was appalling service

Firstly we had to clear our own table as the was no staff around to do so

Many tables were still left uncleared.

Secondly

Our meals were brought out at different times by the time my daughters meal had been brought out she had already eaten enough off somebody else’s plate!

Two of the meals that had been brought back I gave back because the fries were freezing.

Terrible experience. Very understaffed. & very different experience compared to what we have had in the past.

The menu looked complicated and hard to read or understand what anything was, when i found something i was expecting a nice juicy steak and onion sandwich but instead i recieved fatty steak trimmings no word of a lie there was 3 skinny peices on each side of what looked like a large bloomer style sandwich the proportions didnt make a nice sandwich i couldnt finish it and felt i wasted my money and time considering to try somewhere new will return!

Not even worth one star I was my husbands birthday the table was so close to the others the food was awful I had gammon it was a chunk of salt with cold chips and peas with a over cooked egg my husband had sirloin steak served with cold chips and two lettuce leaves both on cold plates not even a steak knife to cut it with we had desserts that were ok served with ice cream in a thimble size pot I don’t even think there was two teaspoons of ice cream I would not recommend to anyone to go and I would like a refund for my food I think I will be writing to the owners of this place

Just been for s meal at this place waited for over 45 minutes we aske how long and was told a couple of minutes 20 minutes later it arrived the food was awful it was stone cold , cold chip cold corn on the cob garlic bread that was discussing we complained to the waiter about the food he went away and came back saying the manager said we didn't have to pay not once did the manager come over we paid for our drinks we spoke to the assistant manager who told us the manager wasn't in she was not interested at all her customers service is appalling we will never visit there again we have had awful food there before and poor service but thought we would give them another chance but nothing has improved it's just got worse definitely will not be using this place agin dreadful service and even more dreadful food wouldn't even give them a 1 star would not recommend this place to anyone

Doubt it even deserves one star to be honest have been twice now and the food is less than mediocre sorry but it’s just not nice food at all which is a shame as location is good and has play area for kids so family friendly.
