Well what a fantastic bank holiday weekend. The Sun was out and it was great entertainment with miss Terri tour. And on Sunday we raise £400 for cancer research, race for life. so well done to everybody. 1st ticket was Joe Robinson winning £200 and 2nd ticket was to John the taxi. Winning £100 plus they Donated half their winnings back to the charity, what a great thing to do. Thanks boys. X I would like to thank all my staff for there hard work, well done x This week at... What's a good place to go for food a lot of choice fast service nice to be able to sit outside not far from the beach will definitely go back there again.

What a great and friendly place to go..great people and top bar staff never had to wait to get served and drinks were always flowing so thanks to Laurence and Tia and Kelly for a great time again..

We have been coming here nearly 3 years now .we live in bedfordshire and totally love this place .the owners are so friendly they chat and laugh with you .all the bar staff are friendly and welcoming .the atmosphere is brilliant and your gaureenteed a good evening .we do class them as our friends now i no my partner looks forward to catching up with lawerence ( a really nice guy behind the bar )

Bring ya kids .dogs and even the granny everyone is made to feel welcome .beach front .music .food .what more do you want .

The roast dinner is SPOT ON 😍 The best iv had in clacton 100%, the staff are great and very freindly, go and try it for urself u wont b disapointed x

Thank you to all the lovely staff that worked so hard in keeping us all fed and watered this weekend we had a blast and loved you all. Also a bid thank you to the chief the steak was delicious as was breakfast and the Sunday roast. Look forward to seeing you all again soon xx

Great, friendly staff - freshly cooked food and reasonably priced and lots of things on the menu. Have been coming here for about 9 years now and never had any problems.

Great place to spend the whole day with all the family! Staff are wonderful and friendly! The atmosphere in the bar is always fun and welcoming! Great food and clean environment. Would recommend to everyone to go for breakfast, lunch, dinner, to watch the football and for a fantastic night out!

First time we eat there and food was fantastic! Service was great and very helpful and friendly. Already can't wait to eat there again. Thanks to all. Lovely people gorgeous food x would highly recommend going there for friendly people and great food and good atmosphere x

FANTASTIC!! had a long weekend away and enjoyed a delicious meal on the Friday night ( home cooked delicious food!) and a superb roast on the Sunday! Staff and owners are wonderful, helpful and made us feel at home!! Will be back very soon!! Thank you all!!

Came to Clacton to visit friends for a short weekend and was staying at Seawick Caravan Park. I had heard of The Sailor Boy as several friends had visited over the summer and I wanted to give the place a try. First visited the pub on Saturday night! Bar Staff were friendly and offered a speedy service, prices about what you would expect and we felt welcome. There was some entertainment in the form of a singer who was good and is rare to see in pubs these days! The atmosphere was good, relaxed yet lively. I visited with kids from age 8-15 and they were welcome also, handy that they were able to come back and forth from the arcade next door.

On the Sunday we decided to give the roast a try. We hadn't booked but the lovely lady in the restaurant (seperate side of pub) was able to squeeze us in if we came back in an hour or so! We were happy to do this and were not disappointed with the wait. Roast Beef was lovely as was the Turkey! Portion size was huge with mash and roast potatoes and plenty of gravy! Paid £14.90 for 3 courses and thought this was good value all in all! Staff were nothing but friendly and welcoming! Service was quick! What more can you ask for? Will be sure to visit when I return again! Outshone the entertainment from the caravan site that's for sure!

The fish and chip shop next door is the best yet! All cooked fresh to order.

Then finish it all off with a pint in the adjoining pub �

Was told not to use the toilets after buying a least 3 pints I was drinking out side ,it was a Sunday the market was there so very busy ,I ask why I was not aloud to use toilets was told not working ,only to SEE there locals coming in and out ,using them ,not good need to look after your comers a little better ,��

A very friendly place ,really good Sunday dinner,good beer. The service was excellent.The only downside....don't ask for an extra empty plate for a child in order to share a meal because they charge you £2:50 . What a cheek !!

Went in here especially to watch the match and get something to eat told I could get nothing to eat they couldn't even turn the music down when the match started even though everybody was in there to watch the match been in here every night for a week you would of thought they would of knocked something up even burger and chips shit hole
