What an awesome place! We came to play a gig here and loved every minute of it. Great staff, great food, great beer and such a cool venue. Special thanks to the sound man, a pleasure to work with! Cheers

We have only ever been to one gig at The Troubadour as we live in North East England and it's a long treck. We stayed overnight in a room above the venue and it was unforgettable. We'd love to do that again and one day soon we will. :-)

We ate here last August, out in the garden (breakfast one day and dinner the next) , and enjoyed it so much that we came back last week for a wee pre-birthday dinner. We enjoyed it just as much inside. The fish and chips was excellent, the music great, but I can't praise the staff highly enough. I'd vaguely mentioned that it was a pre-birthday dinner when we booked but thought no more of it. The restaurant staff brought our dessert, complete with sparklers, and singing Happy Birthday! Thank you so much. This would now be unmissable on any future visit to London (probably next year sometime!). Thank you.

Troubadour has played a central role in the London music scene for a good long while now and it's seriously down to all the hard work they're putting in downstairs. Tailor-made events such as the London Guitar Night and the songwriter evenings (among many others) are bringing musicians together in a way that nobody else really is right now. There are a hundred reasons to like this venue and all the hard-working dudes in the venue, special mention to Stefano, Stacy, and all the guys helping out on the door who are making Troubadour the most hospitable, professional venue of it's size in London right now. As a punter I've not been to nights where it feels like there's a cohesiveness in the room among the crowd, and as an artist it's a good feeling to be spoken to like an actual person (not to mention it's one of the small venues that actually does an amazing job paying and feeding it's artists). Like many here I feel that when it comes to putting on events and making the public aware, there's things they could possibly do better; a strong online presence would go a huge way given the reputation of the venue and the current quality it's putting out. Also, if free tea and coffee for artists is brought back it may well become the greatest venue we'd ever be lucky enough to perform in.

The Troubadour has to be one of the best venues I've ever had the pleasure of playing at. The staff are always amazing, especially Stefano who is very welcoming and professional. The sound at The Troubadour is something of perfection thanks to Stacy Parrish with his experience and many years in the Industry as a sound engineer. They have both made this venue a privilege to play at, and are making a much needed impact in the music scene in west London.

These people overall make this venue incredible. They are extremely attentive and professional. I am more then happy to travel the many miles I do to play here and hope to continue doing so with this team.

One area that could be improved would be marketing the venue events and PR. I feel the venue has so much more potential to attract a bigger audience for these events and I think with proactive marketing this could be achieved!

Looking forward to playing many more gigs here.

Service was very fast, frendly and helpfull. We love to seat at the backyard, remind us a lot about Frankfurt, German

One of my favourite venues in London! As a musician it's nice to have great people to work with at the venue. Stacey & Stefano do an incredible job. Sound is awesome and love the ambience at the Troubadour. I always look forward to the opportunity to play here again and my guests always have the best things to say about it too. Also a very fair venue for musicians. Would love to see more marketing of events and PR for the incredible music nights at the Troubadour.

User

Love this place! We happened upon the Troubadour for Sunday dinner and liked it so much we went back for breakfast the next morning.

The food is wonderful, the staff is amazing (thanks Robert!), and the history is rich. Had we stayed in London longer we would have definitely gone back!

I'm bummed we weren't there on a night with music as I'm sure it would have been great as well.

User

Great venue since I can’t even remember when. Music downstairs last night was fabulous. Met my wife there 31 years ago...

User

Great spot for a bite to eat, a few beers and cracking live music. Coda - led Zeppelin tribute were awesome.

User

Food is good, vegetarian options, lovely beer garden. Musical history here, too.

User

Excellent venue, excellent night, Sound is Amazing and the choice of bands is really really good!

If you want to listen to some really good music, this is the place to go!

User

Brilliant venue went to see Robert Brown and Armit Sond last night an amazing night. Food looked great even though I didn't eat there. Only problem not enough seats and venue is cold. It was a full house with standing room only.

As a Musician based in London, and having the privilege to play this venue on multiple occasions, The Troubadour has done so much for new and unsigned music, bands and solo artists. Many doors have been opened for us alone just by playing here, and we've also met some incredible people, including Musicians, songwriters and music lovers! One of those people is a lovely chap by the name of Stacy Parrish, who books the acts, runs the nights and does a fantastic job on the sound-desk, mixing the bands Live with pristine clarity, ensuring they sound their finest!

I've also visited the Troubadour as a customer and the bar staff are just as cool and as friendly, Stefano will ensure that you are looked after, as well as shaking up some fantastic cocktails!

Overall, I feel that more venues like this are needed in London, the Troubadour is doing so well to recreate the city's once-thriving music scene, as people will come from all over London to see the artists play! One thing I would say, is that perhaps more could be done to market the nights, to really capitalise on the potential of this iconic venue!

User

Absolutely love this iconic place! Coffee, food, and service are superb. Perfect spot to sit back, unwind and relax.

I have not been here since the early 80's when the cafe had it's share of well known characters, film, music, artisan and bohemian types, and it always smelt of good coffee and games of chess were in progress. That may have changed.

The cafe now though it be larger has lost none of its character and is a charming now as it was then. The food has changed with the times , though I liked the menu and enjoyed the vegetarian breakfast.

User

Great , intimate music venue with friendly talented bar staff, some of whom performed some of their own compositions on 4 November when we there. The evening was memorable with Blurred Vision rocking the place from 9 30pm till 11pm. Great to meet the band afterwards and get their signed EP.My only criticism is the lack of a session real ale. Only lagers and 1 strong beer on tap and very pricy at £5.50 a pint. I recommend you get a few real ales on at under 4% and under £5 a pint.

User

The place is beautiful and it's great to enjoy life music there, BUT after being charged 12.5% of service just for two beers is unacceptable! It would be ok if they charged for service for a dinner, but for two beers???

No way!

User

Not the best reception. The French waiter wasn't the most pleasant person in the venue

Food average. No toast with the pate

Steak drenched in a sauce which wasn't on the menu. Corrected yet steak not cooked as requested. Black and blue.

Banoffee pie lacking bananas

No decaf coffee.

Not somewhere to rush back to.
