Hi everyone. We are now ready with our takeaway menu. This will be updated on Facebook daily with some variations just to make it a little more interesting. We will be open to collect food orders between midday and 2.00p.m. and 5.00p.m. to 8.00p.m. Monday to Saturday. We will use the front street stable door for collections. In these strange circumstances we have no idea how this will go so please bear with us and we can make changes as we go along. Also please remember The W...hite Hart is now a one man band and not operating on all systems including tills & credit card services therefor we can only accept cash or BACS payments. We do ask and i am sure you are all being cautious anyway that when we hand over the food and you make payment we make a safe distance between us as best we can and i will use a tray to put the money straight into. I know this all sounds nuts but we all have to be careful especially as this thing is accelerating. Please call us to place your orders on 01525 862022. Hi Everybody. In light of the current situation we are trying to find a way to help the village of Flitton and are considering stocking some basic essentials like bread, milk, eggs, tea bags and other bits which we are happy to deliver to the elderly possibly between the hours of 9am & 11am a few days a week. If there is any interest in this sort of service please let us know and we can think it through further and see what else we can do. Now obviously most older people wont be on facebook so please spread the word and hopefully this will make people's lives at this difficult time a little easier. We should by Friday also be able to offer takeaway food such as scampi & chips, burgers & fish & chips. Please just call us if you have and queries or special requirements and we will do our best.

Review on TripAdvisor today. Well done team, nailed it! "Friendly welcome into a traditional but modernised pub. We had come for a family Sunday lunch and were not disappointed. Friendly staff and a choice of traditional roasts. We ordered a broad selection and they were all superb. The meats were generous, tender and tasted beautiful, accompanied by lovely gravy and fresh, crispy yorkshire puddings. The vegetables were all well cooked - not overdone and with plenty of f...lavour. The cauliflower cheese we ordered as an extra was one of the best any of us had tasted - it really packed a punch with cheese flavour! The chef, who chatted to us between our main and dessert courses, was really friendly and passionate about his business and serving 'pub food done really well'. If that was the aim, then he hit the bullseye! Desserts were equally good, with some delightful different choices such as the gin and lavender creme brulee. Beers were limited in number but included local ale and, as we'd come to enjoy the pub as a restaurant not a pub, this didn't bother us and is mentioned only to avoid disappointment amongst anyone who was looking primarily for a CAMRA drinking pub.
