Wonderful stay and breakfast!
Went for Sunday Lunch with 3 others. Wonderful surroundings, excellent staff and fabulous food.
We've just spent another lovely weekend at The Woodhouse Arms. Wonderful, friendly attentive staff, delicious food and comfy beds. We will definitely be back.
We were there yesterday (17.3.18) for a family meal, and were blown away by the main course. Lamb shank, steak and Guinness pie, burgers, all cooked to perfection. I had the pie and didn't have room for a sweet, so just finished it off with a latte. Highly recommended.
We were a party of seven that came here to celebrate my mums birthday on Tuesday.
We had a wonderful evening. The service is friendly and efficient. The menu offers a large selection of dishes to suit all and the food is well presented and tasty.
I don't know the staff names but I'm sure you'll remember us for accidentally setting the menu on fire......
We'll be back if you let us....Thankyou.
We had a fabulous meal at lunch time. We will definitely go back again.
I will recommend this venue to everyone I know who is looking for a great place to eat and socialise, staff were very pleasant and the food was fabulous. Great value for money
Such a nice pub/restaurant! Nicest food, good customer service every time I’ve been
Spent a fabulous New Years Eve here, the food was incredible and Ian & Amanda went that extra mile to ensure everyone had a great time. Thanks to all the staff who work tirelessly, they are a credit to you. This was my third visit for the New Year celebrations and you definitely didn't disappoint. Happy New Year to you all, here's to many more xx
Lovely, friendly pub. Great atmosphere and delicious food. Stayed over in a very clean and comfortable room.
Lovely place to visit for a meal. I have been 3 times in the last few weeks and not been disappointed. Food very good and very pleasant staff. Highly recommend a visit.
Lovely decor and friendly atmosphere. Great menu, good prices. The food was amazing. We had a chicken baguette with home made coleslaw and salad and home made quiche. Plus a portion of chips.
I luckily wasn't driving so had the raspberry gin and tonic, very reasonably priced.
Would definitely recommend
Lovely atmosphere friendly staff food exceptional. Wife had roast beef Sunday lunch but I had cannelloni with garlic bread both excellent. Good prices. Excellent starters too. Highly recommend. Have also eaten there weekday lunch time menu food value
Large, relaxed,traditional, village pub.
Clean lines, offset with comfy seating, lots of wood burning stoves, ( counted 3), friendly, helpful staff, draught beers and lager. Extensive range of exciting and unusual gins.
Double room very spacious, comfortable, glowing wood furniture and spotlessly clean, as was entire premises. All the usual bathroom and tea accessories but the cafetière with jar of ground beans was a delight after our long late journey.
Breakfast hearty, freshly cooked and locally sourced produce very evident as it’s flavours and textures really stood out.
This ticked all the boxes, and more for our overnight pit stop. It’s always good to find somewhere that over delivers on what you may expect.
Just had a lovely meal for my Father in laws Birthday, food and staff great.
I was there yesterday evening with my husband and 2 friends, we were very pleased with the service and the food very good. Would recommend this pub to anyone thank you.
Had a fantastic meal at the Woodhouse Arms, beautifully decorated and lovely friendly staff. Meal was delicious (recommend the lemon meringue pie with raspberry sorbet absolutely delicious).
Had a fabulous meal yesterday lunchtime, best I've had for a long time! The sea bass with risotto....yummy. My partner had the duck which was also great. Thoroughly recommend going, we will be back!
Came today to celebrate by Dads 60th Birthday. We were a party of 10 including 3 children. The staff were very friendly and so accommodating. The food was lovely and one of the best Sunday lunches we've had. Thank you for making our celebration even more special.
Went for a 70th birthday in October. There were 21 of us. A really nice place which didn't disappoint. I always drive past the place whenever I drive from Yorkshire to visit my mother who doesn't live far away from here and I have always wanted to visit. Glad I did. Recommended.
