The Nadaam festival, held last week, highlights a sport that is a source of prestige in Mongolia, where nomadic families take pride in their children becoming jockeys and racing their horses. But vulnerable children as young as five have been participating as jockeys. Many child jockeys drop out of school to race full-time, and many risk injury and exploitation.

That's why the Youth Skills and Innovation Initiative was set up last year by the Global Business Coalition for Education (GBC-Education). Bringing together youth, industry leaders and experts, its mission is to help young people be ready for the jobs of the future.

With our #5for5 campaign, we've been talking a lot about how pre-primary education helps children aged three and over be better prepared for primary school by helping with cognitive and social skills such as early reading and mathematics, and social interaction. So we were really pleased to hear that Kenya has launched a national pre-primary education policy 🙌 Early childhood development centres will be set up in five counties. And all pre-primary education teachers will be trained in how to spot children with disabilities and special needs to give them the help they require.

Theirworld is doing a noble cause because children are our great asset and builders of our tomorrow. They have every right to get education therefore I urge G-20 to allocate sufficient funds for children's education all over the world so no child could get out of school.

UN must do more to help children get to school. Children should have access to school at early age.
