Throwback Thursday to Racing Welfare bringing their flossing action to the table at Thirsk Races!
Almost one week to go until THE BIG FLOSS OFF competition on our Pirates Family Day with Minster FM as Lilly The Filly and the Minster Monster get involved in some serious flossing competition!
The 'Floss Off' will be in the parade ring at 3.20pm and you will need to have purchased the appropriate ticket/badge to take part.

Our Pirates Family Day on Friday 31st August, we are thrilled to be hosting The Creditas ‘Taking Care of Business’ Stable Staff Stakes charity race, raising funds for Racing Welfare.
Roles are being reversed, as for the first time Jockeys will be leading up stable staff at Thirsk Races!
This is a fantastic opportunity for stable staff to experience the thrill of riding in a race, and it's all raising money for a great cause.

Thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday for the first of our Family Days this year, our James Herriot 'All Creatures Great & Small' Family Day and what a day it was.
We had pony racing, petting farm, pony rides, face painting, bouncy castle, A ROYAL WINNER - Yes, HM The Queen had a winner here and jockey Joe Fanning rode his 100th winner of the season.

Went to the Dine & View on Saturday 4 August at Thirsk Racecourse, food excellent, staff excellent had a fabulous day

Well organised lovely course defoe go back staff were very helpful and polite

Well done thirsk came on Saturday in the premier enclosure sat in the seating under the outdoor covered area minimal queuing for a drink and never had to queue once for the loo!!! That's how to keep punters happy

We enjoyed are four day stay at Thirsk race course caravan park would definitely recommend it very good thanks

We came on Friday and Saturday, love this course. Fantastic job done on Saturday with so many people, no trouble and minimal queuing, it puts some of the big courses to shame. Well done management and staff.

Very very helpful staff - excellent surroundings - easy to get to - very good restaurants and food to match.�

First time visit on Monday 22nd June. Absolutely fantastic night, despite losing!! Weather perfect, nice food, reasonable bar prices, friendly staff. Would Definately recommend for a great, chilled evening with friends....thank you....we will be back !

Came here with a load of my family and friends for my hen do. Been to lots of different racecourses and this one is really nice and well kept. Good parking, easy to get around, lots of places to eat and drink, clean toilets, no queues, good entertainment, I could go on… Fab day out, just a shame I had no winners!

Been several times now...always something different going on....well organised and helpful polite staff

A lovely site, just a 5 minute stroll into Thirsk. Only downside is Aldi deliveries during the night are noisy, so best try and get to the other side of the camp. We will definitely be returning.

Love love love this racecourse I've hired a private box, bought premier tickets and been in the family enclosure the experience is always the best regardless of price of ticket just fabulous so welcoming ���

Came to the family day back in August. We had a really lovely day. Glad we took picnic and drinks as the drinks were way overpriced.
