As a qualified Funeral Celebrant, my aim is to make sure that every funeral ceremony is unique to the person that has died and reflects their, and their family’s, wishes, values and beliefs.
This may include religious elements such as hymns and prayers. Or may be entirely secular.
Music, poems, readings and symbolic gestures such as the lighting of candles or displaying of photographs can all be used to make sure this final act of goodbye is thoughtful, respectful and memorable.
