Just a few photos from last nights fabulous lakeside fireworks display. It was lovely to see so many people there. Sorry if anyone was inconvenienced by this.

This time tomorrow the gates will be open for our lakeside fireworks display. Here are some photos from 2017. Tickets are available on the gate. Don’t forget NO PARKING available at thriftwood. Please be respectful of our neighbors and use public transportation or King George’s playing fields

Splendid place...it invoked a sense of adventure and memories of my childhood of going into the forest/woods with my peers was brought back to life.... l am hoping to visit again....Owesome����
Our Brightside year 6 leavers had the most wonderful day; 5 activities, campfire and BBQ. The most amazing end to their time in primary school.
Thank you to all the instructors for making their day fantastic x
Many thanks to all thiftwood staff for a great party for my Daughters 9th party yesterday.All children had a great time Kayaking and climbing and staff very helpful and accommodating when the A127 was closed following a accident and resulted in some of us being late.
Lovely tranquil place. Not hard to see why the Scouting fraternity love to be there.
My two boys have camped here on many an occasion and they love the life and the activities.
It's the kind of place that is great whatever the weather.
Just returned from out guide summer camp and yet again had the most amazing time. The staff were polite and friendly as usual. We will be returning x
Just finished a great residential here with 40 year 4 children. The staff were amazing and an awesome time was had by all... everyone enjoyed the activities and the staff were so helpful. Thanks for a brilliant time 👍🏻😄
Just back from #intents 2018, we had an amazing week with so many activities to keep everyone busy even my 3 year old! The crew were really enthusiastic and my Guides loved every minute. Highly recommended a huge thumbs up from the 17th Cambridge.
If there was more than five stars I would give you a 10/10.
For the first day I found all the instructors for the activities that I did with my group very helpful, kind and patient. Would defiantly come again but for longer!!! Thank you to everyone!!
I use Thriftwood Camp Site for Guide Camps and Forest School events and I always find the staff to be helpful and the site well, it is just beautiful and peaceful even on busy days. Just love spending time here as do the children that come to various events during the year. Fabulous thank you.
I have just finished a couple of sessions at thriftwood with the instructors under the names of Lauren and keyala I would just like to say how brilliant they are with the scouts and us as leaders they kept us laughing and cheery the whole way through the cold evening it is tonight,
Hope we have them again on activities as they were just great thanks again,

Have now recovered from a fabulous weekend at Thriftwood. We stayed in the tented village what a fab idea no big items to take to camp and no mess tent to dry out after a very wet weekend. All the kids I brought in camp and the adults to had a great weekend in some of your excellent activities with the hard working friendly instructors in site. X
Have just returned from our 1st family camping experience with my son's Beaver's group. We were at the MacFarlane building and the facilities were great. H know our leader organised it all and he was also fantastic, but all the staff we met at Thriftwood were so friendly and helpful. Can't wait to visit again. Thanks, The Palmers :-)
Great Scout campsite. Good facilities although a bit of a hike to keep going backwards and forwards with kit for some of the activities. Good evening campfire with some different songs.
Excellent place as always. Nice and tidy as ever, kids raiding the tuck shop, great days, great memories.
A great site with lots for the kids to do, staff are friendly and helpful. So much for the kids to experience.
A great place to go and camp for any amount of time with lots of activities to do for any age. The instructors are second to none with a great sense of humour that make it more enjoyable.
Highly recommended as we are there every year and have got to know all the instructors on a first name basis 😀🌲⛺️
A fantastic day at Thriftwood scout camp for our end of year key stage 4 trip. Our pupils had such a great experience, they can't wait to go again next year. Thank you to the staff who helped us in reception.
2nd stanford Le Hope cubs attended the spooky day yesterday at thriftwood, cubs really enjoyed themselves plenty of activities for,them to do and definitely worth the money, be going next year for sure and thank you to all that made the day at thriftwood
Lovely setting and exciting activities but let down by the fact that the toilets were empty of paper from Saturday evening until we left on Sunday at 3, despite asking for them to do done at at 11am, granted Saturday was very busy on site but no excuse not to at least refil them!
