About Til We Meet In England By Lost Text/Found Space
Performance, live music and installation fuse in a beautifully realised, rare opportunity to encounter a lost voice in an intimate hidden space.
Til We Meet In England By Lost Text/Found Space Description
A family discover their son is missing, possibly murdered by sectarian forces. They prepare to escape the country, but are surrounded by a blood-hungry mob. How can human values persist when humanitarian beliefs are flung aside?
Lost Text /Found Space take lost plays by women and craft unique site-specific works in hidden locations, making unforgettable performances in which audiences feel an intense, playful sense of engagement.

Our students re-enacting a suffragette march, with images spreading from the bbc front pages to Getty image bank. Yet to be noted, 3 of our 4 slogans are contemporary, from marches happening here and now. Equality is a right we need to keep fighting for. @womensmarchlon https://t.co/sEBaTPMehb

#100years ago today, 40% of British women won the right to vote. We're loving the work @RoyalHolloway are doing to mark the occasion. #Suffragette100 https://t.co/YVkYBmyRwU

Immersive theatre at its best, say our audience, @lyngardner @susannahclapp @WhatsOnStage with over a week still to go we’d still love your responses to help us celebrate a lost woman’s voice which resonates powerfully today... https://t.co/IbR150VtN0

This powerful production by @LostTFSpace is well worth seeing, closing the gap between 16th, 18th and 21st centuries in a derelict house in #Peckham. If courage is grace under pressure this pushes it to the limit. A play for our time - and every time: https://t.co/ShlRXYyKU9 https://t.co/ysB6CoDNju
Tonight we have live artist and participatory researcher Astrid Breel joining us for a conversation about immersion and participation. Join us! ‘Why do we loiter here?’ The talented Rachel Summers in fine form as Mme Tricastin as she urges her family to escape. So many modern day resonances, in a play written in 1792. Tix still available: https://t.co/jLpTtEYRNx https://t.co/EvuHXTHdsh

‘The neighbour who thinks differently to me, I am his enemy’... the brilliant Andy David as Dugas always brings to mind for me the mob-speak of Farage and his like... still time to catch us: https://t.co/jLpTtEYRNx https://t.co/guecH4Vfcq
