With only 4 bats left to work through, which are all near completion, or finished and ready to be posted this week, it is time to say goodbye. Bat repairs have been something I've been on and off with for four years now, and something that has become relatively serious the last 18-24 months with me turning to making bats too. It has now got to a stage however where I can no longer dedicate sufficient time to it as a business in order to maintain not only the quality but also ...turnaround times you as customers deserve. This is also an apology to anyone who has used me over the last few months and in some cases beyond that time frame for slow returns and responses. A full time contract within another sector coupled with an opportunity of university has now put a final nail in my decision though, and it's time to stop. In truth this has been coming for almost a year now, and should've been made sooner but now is right. I may return one day but for now it is not feasible. For anyone who still has a bat with me rest assured as mentioned it will be finished and returned this week. One last thank you to everyone who has trusted me with their sticks and the many return customers. If anyone needs any advice, I will still try to answer where I can.

The finished bat from the lovely grade 1 cleft we posted last week, it has polished up lovely after shaping and sanding and is now being knocked in for the customer. Finished at 2lb 11 with one grip, 37mm edges, 62mm spine and a little bit of concaving. Sam Trussler

When a monster comes in for a weight reduction. I've put a duckbill toe on this beauty which boasts massive 44mm edges! I like big bats and I cannot lie!

The club I play for (Hunton Wanderers Cricket Club) down in Kent are currently applying for a vote based grant in order to fund some sight screens as currently we have none! With a lovely setting but a bowls green one end and a football pitch from the other (of which football is played on for a vast majority of the season) it can be very difficult to pick the ball up at times.

Full refurb on this Jedi Zaramax bat, lovely grains on it, stripped down and sanded, before polishing and fitting with a new grip, scuff sheet and some 2017 Jedi stickers, looks a brand new stick. Get in touch if you need your old faithful looking brand new again

Been super busy with repairs, exams and other bits and bobs which means I haven't been able to post much recently, but will start posting more regularly again now. Received this big roll of English made best quality scuff sheet yesterday ready to go on after bat refurbishments and repairs

Full refurb and repair completed on this classic Newbery Uzi, toe was split and had some face and edge cracks as well as a little bit of feathering, all glued up, toe split dowelled before a full sand and polish, finished off with new grips, stickers and scuff sheet looks almost brand new. Also fitted a toe guard for some extra protection of the repairs

Full refurb on this Gray Nics fusion, lovely bat and profile and pings very nicely too, no major damage just looking a bit dated. The customer provided some genuine gray nics ignite stickers to be put on after the refurb which really finish the bat off and make it look brand new again.

Face refurb and repair, and general tidy up finished on this Woodworm for Pete, some edge and face cracks fixed, face and edges sanded around the stickers and a new toe guard, scuff sheet and grip fitted.
