went for my wife visa and son visa, birth certificate was missing so advisor asked my wife to book another appointment with new email, when registering with new email system was not accepting the passport number as this has been in use with previous email, so I just add an extra zero before passport number as aim was to get the new appointment...so after getting new appointment when we arrived with birth certificate the advisor forwarded to premium service...so this is the success behind their business....not going again will apply straight from embassy next time

opted for express courier return for gwf046831860- parcel not yet sent /trackable. Appalling service-i missed my flight.. Worst part is zero accountability and absolutely no chance for customers to genuinely follow up.. By far, the worst customer experience ever!!!

You really need to start considering people who are not able bodied at your centre. I have a cane, and have a condition that means my joints dislocate very easily. Your security guard, stared passively, at me struggling to stand for 15 minutes, while I waited for 'a manager ' to come along. All I wanted was to be able to sit somewhere! There were 3 empty chairs by the guard ( behind the metal detector), all of which could have been moved to the main area and given to me, but he refused due to 'security'. Absolutely rubbish. I will be making a formal complaint to tls and the French Embassy.

You can book online but you can not edit or cancel your appointment online. You can not reach them by the phone neither. The only thing you can do is just leaving your phone number and waiting for them to call you back and they never ring you back!

This place is the most humiliating visa center I have ever been. I have no idea how french embassy decided to give authority to them for dealing with applications. if they don't change this approach then sure it be a bad image in the world about french people . Please remove Africans from security side else please educate them how to speak . Security Guys have tie-up with Primer to push all application to premium service.

Here goes my story.

I along with my wife and 2 year old applied for schengen visa through TLS contact. While applying they mention that for all the person who are travelling together the appointment needs to be single and you can't take separate appointment.

Further it was also mentioned that children below 12 years are not allowed in the centre.



Now how can we leave our 2 year old son alone. We didn't found any contact number of TLS. The only facility that was provided was to leave a message with them and they would come back with a reply as per their wish. We didn't receive any response to our message from them and we went to their office on the scheduled appointment date.



On reaching there we were told that since we have brought our child we have to go for the premium service for which we were charged 28 quid per person on top of the visa fee. This was also applicable for my son.

Only the name is premium, the service is worst than what one would have received by going through the normal process. We waited for two and a half hour. One hour in the queue where i was along with my wife and then one and a half hour inside the office alone as they mentioned that 1st I would complete all the process and then my wife would do the same.

Was that a joke how different was it have we applied separately.



Anyway we wasted 3.5 hours in completing the process.



I am from India and we generally blame the process back in ur country but experiencing all these was an eye-opener to us and reflect how it is worst over here.

Longest queues, even you have appointment for 9am, you won't even be seen till 11am. Once you have been seen, you still need to wait for another one hour or two to do your fingers prints.



Staff not known what to do, some of them hardly speak English. cashiers not trained, can't tell the difference between debit card and credit card, also when customer wanted to pay cash, cashier said no, card is easier for him, and they accepted credit cards, and charged that customer more.



When you do refund , cashier doesn't know how to do it, and you don't do the whole refund , only refunded the visa fee, not the service fee, staff don't even explain what they refunding. When you question about it, staff trying to blank you, and ignore you.



Most of the copy machines there not working, toilets are dirty.



You have plenty counters but never have enough staff to work there.



My passport has been returned by French embassy due to the condition of my passport,



Your should have told me as your part of your service before it was sent off, wasted my time and money, you should know what conditions of passport french embassy should accept, that's why we are paying the service charge, when the passport returned and you don't refund the service charge. I mean why ? This is cheat !



French embassy seriously needs to consider to change a different company to work for them, it really damages the reputation.



When you look online, no one is happy about the service, and you don't do anything about it? That means your business will be ending soon.

When you just wanna use your phone to check the accommodation email address for the application form, the security lady just came over, with one finger pointing at the exit, and said “You! Out!” WTF!!!!! Then, they told me I couldn’t go back unless I paid for the premium service (I guess which means I can use my phone)....I do apologize for my negligence of your no-phone rule (although it dose not make any sense to me), but there’s no need to be so rude! And maybe you should consider hanging big signs in the waiting room since you’re so serious abt it!

TLS Contact is a fraud and swallow my money without servicing. Their labours and managements are bastard. They are cheaters and having a non refundable policy in their business which I will esclate to citizens advice bureau. They don't have any business standard to uk customer. They are monopoly and French consulate no responding When I have a problem with TLS Contact. French consulate have a some deal ( briebes ) with TLS Contact which is very shame.

TLS Contact has disconnect my call when I called them for the problem.

We have travel to London for three time to get done my one visa for my family. TLS asked me to bought the tickets and other arrangements before get my visa application which is very tricky by TLS. Contact.(Fraud)

They are wasting my time, money and energy but same service avaiable at local our post office like biometric and verification etc. Why French consulate not giving chance to post office.



Please avoid to dealing with TLS Contact as their fraud and should remove from the UK business.

I went to TLScontact centre to submit my application today, I travelled all the way from Nottingham, it cost me over £100 for Tain ticket, I have prepared everything I could thought of, however when the staff in TSLcontact centre checking my documents she found the insurance document I printed out missed a bit information, but it still stated very clearly my name, policy number, and it is covered for an world wide annual trip. It probably the easiest mistake to make. But the staff who was checking my application had absolutely no empathy , I have bought a world wide annual trip insurance , it almost cover everything any insurance could cover, and if you buy any travel insurance in the UK, most would cover Europe, I did explain to her(Barbara L) that please can I just forward my policy email and print it out, because I came all the way from Nottingham, I spent quite(£100) a lot of money on train ticket and a day of my time, all I need is print a email out to make sure I won’t waste my money and time. However she was very cold, and said to me “no! You have only two options, withdraw your application or submit like this but you will get refused.” I was so shocked, I myself work in the service industry as well, I am her customer, how can she had absolutely no empathy towards a situation like that??? I an not asking to bend any rules for me or do anything against her principle as an employee of TLScontact, I am only asking to print a page of document,I am from low income family almost £200 for get a visa is quite a big out going for me, I know I should have double checked everything, but everybody makes mistake, this is the kind of mistake can be fixed instantly, I have bought an annual trip insurance policy, all I need to do was printing my email out, however I've been told, go back home, pay another train ticket to London, or pay the visa fees and get refused, don’t you think that unreasonable ??? Honestly I was so frustrated,I felt that she wasn’t there to help me rather than give me a hard time, I know it was her job to check our documents, but I am sure it is also her job to help us.

I had unpleasant time there. They charge for the service and suppose to be quicker and more helpful. In fact,you have to wait for a long time! They provide a premium service which is quicker and better waiting place. That's not all! After taking the fingerprint, applicants suppose to rate their service by pressing the buttons on the wall. The person who served me was rude and helpless. Therefore I was going to press the unhappy button. Guess what! She said to me in an rude and forceful tone"press the green button!"



Excuse me ! Is it our right ?

Moreover, you have to come back in person to collect your documents! If you cannot come back you have to write an authorised letter. No nobody tells you these unless you ask!



To avoid any hustle, just go the France embassy! This is the advice I would give to anybody who is going to use TLS.

I applied for a Schengen visa on 15/05/2018 appointment time 11:30am. I travel 8 hours to reach the visa centre as we live in Yorkshire. The applied visa is for 3 days in France and 10 days in Italy. France is our first entry point into the Schengen zone so I applied for a visa at the French TLS contact centre. The application centre staff REFUSED to allow my application. The female member of staff shouted at me and was extremely rude as I calmly pleaded my case. We now have to rearrange a visit to the Italian TLC contact centre to apply for the same visa. Will you reimburse my travel costs??? Regards

I am sorry to say this but this company not worthy even being a 10- house councillor's outsource .Adding to Jie Gao below I was offered to upgrade extra £28 to print out a document which was not even mentioned on their website for visa group I apply, but I refused and chose to withdraw,when I questioned them how about if you are new to this country where would you get that document,no one had an answer ,the funny things ,they don't even speak good English and using cheap labour,this has to be looked at.

Awful experience. Total nightmare 4.5 hours wait in chaotic and overcrowded conditions today. Woefully inadequate staffing levels (only 3-4 out of 10 counters open) even though they knew how many applicants would be attending. Building is way too small which means applicant's family or friends not allowed in and have to wait outside in the pouring rain. Have made a formal complaint to Consulate General of France and hopefully if enough people complain they'll get rid of TLScontact. Never again!

I went to TLScontact centre to submit my application today, I travelled all the way from Nottingham, it cost me over £100 for Tain ticket, I have prepared everything I could thought of, however when the staff in TSLcontact centre checking my documents she found the insurance document I printed out missed a bit information, but it still stated very clearly my name, policy number, and it is covered for an world wide annual trip. It probably the easiest mistake to make. But the staff who was checking my application had absolutely no empathy , I have bought a world wide annual trip insurance , it almost cover everything any insurance could cover, and if you buy any travel insurance in the UK, most would cover Europe, I did explain to her(Barbara L) that please can I just forward my policy email and print it out, because I came all the way from Nottingham, I spent quite(£100) a lot of money on train ticket and a day of my time, all I need is print a email out to make sure I won’t waste my money and time. However she was very cold, and said to me “no! You have only two options, withdraw your application or submit like this but you will get refused.” I was so shocked, I myself work in the service industry as well, I am her customer, how can she had absolutely no empathy towards a situation like that??? I an not asking to bend any rules for me or do anything against her principle as an employee of TLScontact, I am only asking to print a page of document,I am from low income family almost £200 for get a visa is quite a big out going for me, I know I should have double checked everything, but everybody makes mistake, this is the kind of mistake can be fixed instantly, I have bought an annual trip insurance policy, all I need to do was printing my email out, however I've been told, go back home, pay another train ticket to London, or pay the visa fees and get refused, don’t you think that unreasonable ??? Honestly I was so frustrated,I felt that she wasn’t there to help me rather than give me a hard time, I know it was her job to check our documents, but I am sure it is also her job to help us.

I had unpleasant time there. They charge for the service and suppose to be quicker and more helpful. In fact,you have to wait for a long time! They provide a premium service which is quicker and better waiting place. That's not all! After taking the fingerprint, applicants suppose to rate their service by pressing the buttons on the wall. The person who served me was rude and helpless. Therefore I was going to press the unhappy button. Guess what! She said to me in an rude and forceful tone"press the green button!"



Excuse me ! Is it our right ?

Moreover, you have to come back in person to collect your documents! If you cannot come back you have to write an authorised letter. No nobody tells you these unless you ask!



To avoid any hustle, just go the France embassy! This is the advice I would give to anybody who is going to use TLS.

I applied for a Schengen visa on 15/05/2018 appointment time 11:30am. I travel 8 hours to reach the visa centre as we live in Yorkshire. The applied visa is for 3 days in France and 10 days in Italy. France is our first entry point into the Schengen zone so I applied for a visa at the French TLS contact centre. The application centre staff REFUSED to allow my application. The female member of staff shouted at me and was extremely rude as I calmly pleaded my case. We now have to rearrange a visit to the Italian TLC contact centre to apply for the same visa. Will you reimburse my travel costs??? Regards

I am sorry to say this but this company not worthy even being a 10- house councillor's outsource .Adding to Jie Gao below I was offered to upgrade extra £28 to print out a document which was not even mentioned on their website for visa group I apply, but I refused and chose to withdraw,when I questioned them how about if you are new to this country where would you get that document,no one had an answer ,the funny things ,they don't even speak good English and using cheap labour,this has to be looked at.

Awful experience. Total nightmare 4.5 hours wait in chaotic and overcrowded conditions today. Woefully inadequate staffing levels (only 3-4 out of 10 counters open) even though they knew how many applicants would be attending. Building is way too small which means applicant's family or friends not allowed in and have to wait outside in the pouring rain. Have made a formal complaint to Consulate General of France and hopefully if enough people complain they'll get rid of TLScontact. Never again!
