Visited this pub twice in the last couple of weeks and it really is a lovely place in a great setting close to the rock formations. Both times the beer was top notch (tried the Harveys and Old Dairy) and the second time I had the veggie platter which was really excellent. The staff are really great. Just a 20 min walk across the common from my house, this will be a regular place to visit.

This little gem is full of laughter, great food, beer and fabulous atmosphere. There is always plenty going on here whether it be live music and pizza on a Tuesday, a quiz on a Wednesday or a Sunday roast. Arrive as customers and leave as friends under the hospitality of the owners Nick and Shelley and their gorgeous staff. I only have one complaint....living almost next door it's hard to stay away!!! ��

Me my wife and daughter had a great time sitting by the fire eating our snack witch was very good and tasty and drinks. The staff were great and friendly

Love this gem...seriously considered moving just to get closer! The landlord/lady, bar staff are so friendly and the atmosphere is friendly. Great for families and foodies, basically give it a go you won't be sorry.

I need to live closer to this pub, (actually maybe that's not a good idea!) great food (particularly the roasts), fab setting & atmosphere & lovely landlords!

Four of us had a lovely lunch here yesterday. A pleasant garden, delicious, well-presented food, and friendly staff.

A true local with a warm welcome. Good food great company and a wonderful team to look after you.

Great pub, warm friendly and welcoming. You could easily come for lunch and stay all day!
