the best place for hairdressing in the world ’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į

every time is an special time

User

Yes it takes a long time, but you will get the best haircut you've probably ever had all for ┬Ż5, no brainer. Highly recommended and I'll definitely be going back. Chris cut my hair with Sylvester supervising, thank you both I love my new hair.

User

Thank you to the fabulous teachers and all the Italian young men ( and women) that looked after me today and gave my hair a makeover. I am still getting used to having a fringe but I am very happy. I feel very lucky to have had such a fabulous hairdresser and colourist to do the job. Thank you again. You are all amazingly talented and I love the attention to detail on everything that you did.

Best wishes Leanne Bulman ( visited 2nd August 2017)

User

Stellar student and teacher - they took my preferences on board and I left with an amazing ┬Ż5 hair cut, finish and blowdry.

User

Sophie the teacher is wonderful, such a lovely human being. I love going there, such a lovely atmosphere. Haircuts are good most of the time if you go to the advanced class and staff class. Franca the receptionist has been there for years and I love her, with her Italian accent and her fire red hair. I have red hair as well:) dyed red::)

User

I love my hair makeover. Lovely Eleish took time and care always consulting me

But I agree that a coffee not just water would have been acceptable as it does take time and that is understandable when you are training

Thank you

User

I had my 1st academy haircut yesterday. Absolutely love it, whole team there were brilliant. Will recommend to friends on Facebook.

Had Spanish students doing hair yesterday and Marcus who cut my hair was confident and checked with tutor regularly, I don't speak Spanish but from there conversation I thought tutor was very pleased with his cutting, styling technique.

Just one suggestion, as you can be there up to 5hrs it would have been nice to be offered water to drink. Otherwise can not fault.

Thinking about going back for colour.

User

I had a really incredible haircut here on Monday 20th Nov 2017 with a lovely trainee and had an amazing experience here. I would highly recommend this Academy.

User

Great experience, IŌĆÖve improved my skills and learned many techniques to bring in every day work in salon. A big thanks to all staff but especially Alberto and Stuart, they motivated me for the best results. Thanks

User

Constantly had brilliant experiences within the academy, I have been getting magical hair doŌĆÖs here for almost two years now and have had no faults. Colourist Stuart Matuska exceeds my expectations for a friendly and talented hairdresser! I could name everyone here as wonderful and warm people but the list would be too long. Any bad review of these colourists shouldnŌĆÖt be taken seriously as some models may just be negative and not want the Toni & Guy team to thrive!

User

Called up this morning asking for a cut & colour, was able to go in today. very welcoming team at the reception, didn't take long to be seen. I had this absolutely lovely spanish lady (I couldn't pronounce her name, let alone spell it) who was making sure I was okay throughout the whole time. She was super talented and did an incredible job, not only with the colouring, but also with the cut! I think it was Daniele supervising the cut and Siobhan supervising the colouring and I must say they were absolutely brilliant. They took my choices into consideration, overlooked closely but did let the lovely spanish lady do most of it (from what I could tell brilliant teachers, very patient and always up for a joke) I can only recommend! I have never been happier after a hairdresser experience than today! Thank you millions!

User

I went for a haircut. I left happy. I really do like the haircut. It just took good three hours even though I have very fine hair. My hairdresser wasn't very confident so she had to stop and ask the teacher on every section she was about to cut. Even the drying took way too long as my hair are dry in two minutes. She chopped a bit too much due to one error which had to be fixed by teacher Sonia but overall I left happy. Next..colour. I hope it will go well.

User

Great being back and happy with hair and will be back

User

Very Unpleasant experience with the colourist Stuart, he was unprofessional and esp rude to me and didn't listen to my needs and suggestion. Everything he did and said was an ego trip as every question I asked was met with sarcastic and mocking remark.

Altho I did have positive experience with the other hairstylist in the past, this experience has left a bad taste in my mouth.

If you want to be treated like a guinea pig and have completely no control with your hair , come to Stuart ’┐Į If you want beautiful unique color and haircut done, come to Siobhan and Fotis.

User

Not satisfied w/my haircut. As i growing my hair long the guy who cut my hair is not enthusiastic about my hair , no idea whatsoever not recommending anything, or even what itŌĆÖs suit for my looks . Very unfropesional about cutting .he ruin my hair

User

My very long hair was chopped upto my neck like f*** nothing like what i wanted. Ombr├® was absolutely shit, turned my hair orangish copper.’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į

If it was possible to give no stars I would! If the prospect of a free/cheap haircut/colour seems too good to be true - believe me it is!

I was approached on the street by a young women (with great hair by the way - clearly doesn't do her own!) she asked if I would be her hair model for a presentation and that I would get a free colour/cut. My hair is short and I manage to successfully bleach it at home with no error so I figured what could go wrong!? After agreeing to part with 4 hours of my time I arrived at the academy. Alarm bells should have rang out as soon as the student doing my hair said she had never bleached hair before. I figured it couldn't be that hard as my hair is ash blonde and always goes white without toner at home. I spent the next hour having the bleach applied (one half of my head was ready to be washed before the other half even had the bleach applied to it). The teacher overseeing was stretched at best between many students most of whom didn't seem to be able to follow his instructions. He took over the application treating my head like a salon maniquinn - not gentle at all. I had to point out bits of my hairline that had been missed in the initial application but waiting patiencently until my hair was ready to be washed. This is where the horror begins. The stylist had discussed the possible use of some colour in my hair which I am not opposed to. She pointed out a very light washed blue colour for my undercut and in my roots I must also add that I was told if I didn't like it, it could be corrected. The colour was mixed and then applied to my perfectly white bleached hair. This is where it all fell flat the teacher overseeing disappeared the student didn't follow instructions on the root application so she proceeded to heavy handedly smothered my hair with the blue dye. After I suggested that she wash it off the final result was revealed - pond scum green hair all over! The bleach and colour process took so long that I was next hurried into the room where the hair cut takes place. With my horror at my new hair colour I begged not to savage my hair further with the cut and after another hour and a half of the stylist trying to use a pair of clippers I asked the teacher to cut my hair instead. By this time everyone had gone home and I was told that it was too late to do anything to correct my hair and that was it- nothing. One of the teachers even seemed to imply that I had been given what I agreed to in my consultation - yes I most certainly agreed to have all over slime green colour in my hair!! The worst part isn't even over yet I need to return on Friday for the actually presentation. This certainly wasn't a free haircut at all I have spent more on colour remover than I would have to buy my own bleach and do it at home. Avoid!!

User

If I could give no stars I would. The Academy takes staff from their salons who have appointments with CUSTOMERS and leaves the customers stuffed with no appointment. Absolutely ridiculous situation that happens time & again. Sick and tired of it - no discount, no one gives a damn. Awful.

User

I came in earlier today to model and I was not listened to... I told Indira I did not want much length off as I was trying to grow it... so she processed to put me on stage not explaining to me any of this and cut more than 3 inches off and gave me a fucking mullet... It looks shit I'm heart broken and I felt like a fucking animal in a zoo with people taking my pictures.. I was also promised products which I did not get but a shit haircut.. I've lost all my confidence and been put back to square one with growing my hair.. I'm so devastated and heart broken and I feel awful....
