Legendary XFM DJ Eddy Temple Morris joins at Tooting Tram and Social.
Expect Big Beat, Breaks, Guilty Pleasures, Indie Mashups and 90s and 00s party banger!
“The best f**king DJ in London.” - Javier E, Razzmatazz Super-Club, Barcelona
... When not presenting his radio show, Eddy can be found twisting and turning around Europe‘s coolest dance floors, including the Big Snow Festival in Andorra. Eddy’s focus has been on his production/remix outfit/band, Losers and getting the live show to a level beyond your wildest dreams!
Back behind the ‘wheels’ eddy plays regularly at Razzmatazz in Barcelona, Elastico in Madrid, the Plugin Sheffield and We Are Your Friends in Bournemouth.
He was also asked to support the Prodigy at their huge show in Milton Keynes. The band didn't want to do the gig without their favorite DJ, so eddy had to leave his stage at The Secret Garden Party to rock 60,000 people Milton Keynes, before coming back to play with Doorly, Example, Hybrid, Jakwob, SkisM and The Freestylers.

We had our wedding at The Tram on Sunday...it was everything we hoped for and more. The whole team were fantastic and made sure the day ran smoothly. Thank you again....we have always loved this venue and now it is even more special to us both. Bex and Rob

User

Thank you to you all at Tooting Tram and Social especially Beth for making our wedding the best day ever. We are eternally grateful. Big love The Howlands

Not saying that all visibly queer people would have the same type of experience, but a security staff member spotted that I might run into trouble getting hassled using the men's toilets and found a gender neutral one for me to use the rest of the evening. It was a very good service for them to go out of their way like that for me to have a more comfortable night.

User

Just wanted to thank the Rockaoke band and amazing MC for making my birthday so special. Thank you all. Will highly recommend

I have just read some of the negative comments below. Yes it gets busy around 11ish, but what club doesn't when the bar prices are so good! #justsaying

User

I went to this night club for the first time last week, after not clubbing for few years now and I had the pleasant surprise that the security personnel, (I would not use the derogatory term "bouncers" with them), were really nice and attentive, patient with people who are obviously partying, and may not want to cause trouble, but are a bit tipsy and having fun. This is an example to follow by all the establishments who aim at providing a quality and safe experience treating customers as human beings, with respect, and not like a herd. Top marks for Tram & Social

User

I have to say; the conduct of your staff, managers and door staff tonight was exemplary in a very awkward situation that could have been very difficult to handle. Instead of dwelling on the awkwardness, the staff did an amazing job of calming the situation and finding a solution. Thank you. I would come back any day of the week thanks to the amazing staff you employ. Xxx

User

I had such a great time at *looks at smudged writing on hand* Turtle Trim and Sausage :)

User

Didn't think I would actually ever feel like a pub regular - great place, but please do not try to check how many people you can fit in on Saturday nights, if you know what i mean.. ;>

User

Amazing sound and beautiful venue. My band and I love playing here. We really enjoy the Tuesday night open mic night put on by Matt Belmont. Amazing event with an excellent vibe. The staff is all really nice. 5 stars all around!!!!

User

Was passing through the area with work , so me and a mate popped in, good live music , great atmosphere! Got a bit too busy for me when the live music stopped and the DJ came out but had a really good time . I'd definatley go back again 👍

User

Had a good night at the Tooting Tram & Social Open Mic (Tuesday). Lots of acts that were enjoyable to listen to - and I got to play as well!

User

Great venue - but I'd have preferred to relax rather than dodge tall guys standing at the front obscuring the act (in our case Thea Gilmore). Excellent night spoilt only by over enthusiasm to get to the front - it was great from the back apart from the view.

User

Once the bands have finished the DJ takes over around 9.30-10.00pm. Unfortunately the sound system is naff, either It's the acoustics or they need a new kit...too much bass! For such a large venue there's only two bars, a fair size one downstairs and a pointless tiny one upstairs. Suggestion...close one of the seating areas upstairs which don't seem to be used and extend the bar. Tooting years ago had an abundant of bars/clubs but now they're only really left with The Tramshed. It gets mad busy with young student type people and the drinks are reasonably low in price. The atmosphere is good but somewhat claustrophobic!

User

Standard club although bouncers are stubborn and bullish, one worker forcibly removed a girl for dancing on a table, and even after being told not to touch her, gripped her arm with excessive force.

No communication from staff about what the problem was, A general embarrassment for the staff and club owner that this happened and that they were unable to follow up on this issue.

Cloakroom staff were superb and wanted to help me with the bouncers although he couldnt leave his post.

TLDR: Bouncers used excessive force on removing a girl, hurting her in the process and shut down any attempt to rectify the situation and have a civil conversation, one bouncer asked if I was looking for a fight... interesting that he brought up the subject of a fight. Such a shame because otherwise a decent club.

User

I came exclusively to sing and have fun. I signed as soon as sheets were out and was never called on stage. Even solicited with the MCee before the end and she just ignored me twice. How bad is that?

User

Hello. I attended your venue for the first time on Saturday night and whilst I had an absolutely fab time the tunes were popping off etc, at the end of the night something terribly strange happened.. When I went to collect my jumper, scarf and jacket the cloakroom snake-sorry, staff member, told me my friends had taken my belongings and there was nothing at all left in the cloakroom. Yet when I walked round the corner they were the only things in there, sat right in front of her on a hanger! It was the strangest thing!! It was as if she was just LYING TO MY FACE AND TRYING TO STEAL MY BELONGINGS! CRAZY!! sort it out stop employing thieves please not nice behaviour

User

Hello, I have been at Tram many times and I haven't had any problem before but since 2 weeks the security staff in special one guy who has the blond hair and always keep his hair tight he didn't let me go in without any reason. He didn't give me any explication, he didn't want to give his name and he just ignore me. In my opinion because this situation is happening for no any reason, he is doing rasism. I am not a british person but I think that's the reason.I haven't been there for wasting my time to stay in the long queue and to be stop at the entry, I went there just for enjoying. Someone must check their action because it isn't fair what they are doing.

User

Heard a few reviews of this place and would love to write one myself, however I was refused entry here as I wasn't carrying ID with me... Wouldn't mind, but I am 42 years old and clearly not underage... avoid this shithole and go 2 minutes down the road to "The Little Bar" for some truly excellent cocktails and great staff and atmosphere. If Tooting Tram & Social was packed I could vaguely understand, but Saturday night and it was dead. Trust me, the cocktails at The Little Bar are the real deal
