Kristina StrÃķmberg, who lives in north London, sent us the photo o...f a group or friends relaxing by the sea was taken by her partner Alex Class at VÃĪstervik's archipelago. Kristina wrote: "We'd love to win the Swedish hamper as we are missing Sweden and would like to invite our friends and family in London over for a Swedish themed evening."
Rebecca McKay, who lives in Salisbury, sent us a photo of her two older sons and their dog (just visible) taken in the countryside near where they live. Rebecca writes: "We're not going on a holiday this year, so instead we do things like this beautiful walk that reminded me of my childhood in Sweden! Sadly I and my family have not been back in Sweden for many years, my young daughter has never even been there so the hamper would be wonderful."

Swedish people really LOVE cinnamon buns! On Kanelbullens dag (Cinnamon Bun Day) Thursday 4 October Swedes will purchase more than 7 million cinnamon buns, and how many are baked in Swedish homes on the day is unknown! For those of you who like add variety to classic Swedish cinnamon buns, here are some fun - and super tasty - varieties to try, including Cloudberry & Almond Paste, Nut Dreams and Swedish Pick n' Mix Buns - created by baking enthusiast Elisabeth Samuelsson.
Sw...edish Cinnamon Buns - 4 tasty varieties
Approx. 30 buns
25 g fresh yeast 2,5 dl milk 1/2 tsp salt 1 egg 1 tsp ground cardamom 125 g butter (room temperature) 0,5 dl caster sugar 8 dl wheat flour 1 egg, for brushing
Crumble the yeast in to a large bowl. Warm the milk until 'finger warm (37 C degrees). Pour the milk over the yeast and stir until the yeast is dissolved. Stir in salt, egg, cardamom, sugar and approx. 7,5 dl of the flour. Mix in a food processor at low speed. Cover the bowl with a kitchen towel and leave the dough to rise for approx. 30 min.
Knead the dough on a clean surface dusted with flour. Split the dough in to three pieces. Using a rolling pin, roll out each piece to a large rectangle, approx. 0,5 cm thick.
Spread your choice of topping on to the rolled out dough. Roll the dough lengthways until you have a large cylinder shape. Cut the dough roll in to 3 cm thick pieces and place each with the cut side up in paper cases placed on a large baking tray. Leave to rise for approx. 60 min.
Pre-heat the oven to 200 C (gas mark 6). Bake in the middle of the oven for approx. 10 min.
Enjoy your freshly made buns!
Classic Swedish Cinnamon Bun filling 150 g butter (room temperature) 2 dl caster sugar 2 tsp ground cinnamon Mix the ingredients until a paste. Topping: Pearl sugar.
Cloudberry & Almond Paste filling 100 g butter 50 g almond past 1,5 dl cloudberry jam 1,5 dl caster sugar 1 tsp ground cardamom 1 tsp vanilla sugar
Mix the ingredients in a food processor.
Topping: Pearl sugar.
Swedish Pick n' Mix Filling 10 Dumle toffees 10 Mars bar pieces (small) 10 Snicker pieces (small) 10 Geisha pieces (small) 20 Center pieces (small) Heat the pick n' mix pieces using a water bath and stir until mixed.
Topping: 10 Rollo pices (small) 10 Dumle toffees Heat the pick n' mix pieces using a water bath and stir until mixed. Drizzle over the buns when they come out of the oven.
Nut Dreams 2 dl peanut butter 2 dl NÃķtcreme Spread the peanut butter on the dough and then add a layer of NÃķtcreme. Topping: Chopped walnuts.

Went into the shop for the first time last week whilst i was visiting in London, the products were great and i felt like a little kid in a candy store, left the shop feeling immensly happy !

Lovely little shop filled with wonderful Swedish products. My mum and I visited the store in Barnes. We were served by a lady called Aurora who was very helpful. I've come away a little more educated in Swedish cuisine!

Just to say Im so glad I found you, born and bred in Sweden but hardly ever go back although my parents do. Been in this country for a very long time but do like some of the swedish food so your shop is lovely.

Ive been to the shop several times and always been met with friendly and helpful staff.



The products are great and I really appreciate some of the fresh dairy products I cant get anywhere else.



Yesterday we placed an online order which was delivered today without any problems.

I live a stonethrow away from Barnes and never knew this shop was there! Will definitely go back ïŋ―

I found all the food items I wanted, I usually have to wait for my mum to go back to Sweden (which isn't often now) so very happy

Fab Swedish shop I've ordered online and visited a few times. Great Swedish food, treats and ornaments. Staff is always very friendly and helpful.

Got my delivery today and absolutely love my new advent candle holder and of course the food is fab too. It will be a great Swedish Xmas in this household this year. Thank you very much.

Delivery was bang on schedule, food was in perfect condition. Meant a lot to be able to get exactly the foods I'd been eating when staying with my daughter in Sweden.

Ordered online and really smooth and quick delivery. Can't wait to get the chance to visit the store. Very impressed to be able to offer fresh dairy prroducts! For every dark day there is a little yellow cross on blue called Totally Sweden!

Very expensive. Suggest shoppers buy their Swedish food from Ikea instead, if you can stand going to Ikea.
