Toy Box Tots Description
Hello! We are Caroline and Ceci from Toy Box Tots.
We are both twin mamas and met in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) of a hospital in Dubai (we were living there at the time) where all 4 of our children were being cared for after being born prematurely.
We bonded over the beeps and alarms of the NICU ward and when our babies were allowed home we continued to meet and soon became firm friends as did our children – Dante, Aïda, Jessica and Madeleine.
The idea for Toy Box Tots came up when we were together one day after moving back to the UK – we were at a playgroup and realised that we were finally able to have half a conversation and actually drink a warm cup of coffee all because other children’s toys are so much more interesting than their own! We started dreaming about having other children’s toys at our own house – and BINGO! The idea for Toy Box Tots was born!
The idea may have developed, but the reasons behind it have never changed – we want to help parents like us entertain their children and help develop their imaginations in a much more cost efficient, storage reducing and environmentally friendly way than buying new toys all the time.
